This ascender works just as good as anything you can find on tree stuff for a fraction of the price! I am throughly impressed with the quality of this product. It is durable and bits onto the rope really well. I have been using this pretty much everyday for multiple months and haven’t had any complaints

This has been great for my DIY knee ascender. I bought a brand new one and their design is the same as mine. Just attach a strap to the foot and bungie to your chestie or over your harness. Does the job the same as name brand.

My partner is a tree climber and needed an extra one for someone else on a job, needed quick, & didn't want to spend a lot. He said this is as good as the name brand model at a 3rd of the price.

I used this to make a knee ascender. I used strap material from an old ratchet strap, but you could buy webbing material on amazon. I used a regular sewing machine to sew it which was difficult for the machine since the material was thick, but it worked. I also bought some stretch webbing to add to the bottom foot loop so that it would stay on my foot. I like the way the lock lever opens easier than my Petzl foot ascender. I would buy it again if I needed to.

I work on a ROPE SEARCH AND RESCUE team and I use these for personally ascending rope. Haven’t used the device yet but it looks to be of great quality and light weight.

Haven't try it yet, but looks good and well made. The spring seems good enough to push the cam back on the rope to lock it in place. For the price, it's fairly good. Don't rely your life on it, since it's not rated by any certification. I use it as a knee ascender.
