I’m new to the bikepacking scene so I wanted to find something to let me try it out without breaking the bank. Enter RockBros bags, a great product for a great price.I just finished a three-day trip on the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP Trail), and these bags were awesome! In fact, better than awesome. On Day 1, it rained. The. Whole. Time. Like downpour rain. When I got to my destination, I was skeptical about whether my stuff would be dry. I needn’t have worried. When I opened the bags (I have the half frame bag, too), my stuff was dry as a bone.There are a couple of nitpicky things I noticed. For example, it’s tough to find the right way to pack the bag because it’s so narrow by the seat (but, silver lining, it allowed for an inexpensive seat-mounted water bottle holder that also functioned as sort of a sway bar), and it tended to sag a bit in the back when it was loaded with stuff (which I sort of figured out by Day 3), but those were minor issues in the scheme of things.In the end, I’m telling you, when they say “waterproof,†they mean it. I’m super happy with my purchase and I would purchase more RockBros products in the future.

This bag is AWESOME!!! I have a newborn but still like to go on long rides to stay active. I could fit my Medella free style pump, flanges, 2 bottles, a milk cooler that comes with Medella pumps, my windbreaker..and there was still more room to shove things in there! The bag didn’t bounce around or hit my tire, very sturdy and secure. Also liked how I could attach my safety light to the back, just felt like my light could fly off so had to rig it a little bit, that would be my only complaint. But can’t get over how nice and sturdy this was. Definitely recommend!!!! Very impressed.

Bought this bag for a four day road tour. It worked perfectly, and I had no problems mounting it or with its durability. It’s a strong bag, and well designed and made. I would say however, that it’s not suitable for any sort of off-road riding. The bag would sway too much, and that will create a tension that may ultimately cause damage. But for road riding it’s perfect.My only complaint is that it’s not 100% waterproof. I put it to the test during a three hour torrential rain storm and when I unpacked that evening there was some dampness inside, so I could not determine how it got in. No matter, because I packed everything into plastic bags anyway, So nothing I had was wet. My riding partner bought a similar bag from another company that was about half the price, and it too worked very well. So I’m not sure that this bag is worth double what that bag is worth, but I have no complaints at the price I paid.

I went on a 5 day ride with this pack. The strap tore slightly the first day and the bead came off the bungee strap the last day. I returned it but will order another right away in hopes the previous problems won't occur. It works great. I hardley knew it was there but it held a good amount of gear and kept things dry in the rain. Great design and price compared to similar products for $150 at the bike shops.

The product its okay, it has worked fine on the road, stays steady and tight and have great storage.The problem is when you go offroad, it wiggles way too much and the straps get loosen making the bag get closer to the back tire till the point it touches the tire, I had to stop many times to tighten the straps. I just think rockbross need to start testing more their products because I have bought few things from them and it gives me the feel that lots of products lack on design because the lack of testing products.Could be better.UPDATE: amazing customer service, they contacted me immediately to ask me about the problem so they take the feedback for improvement.

I'm really amazed at how well made, sturdy and well fitting this thing is. It is also huge! I have used borrowed top of the line bags that cost twice as much to try out bikepacking. Now that I'm getting into it I just could not see spending that much so got a complete Rockbros set. This piece is just as well made as the much more expensive one, if anything the critical nose of the bag is sturdier. The included foam insert that fits against the seat post means you can pull the support straps really tight and get a snug fit. If you really cinch up the straps that go through the seat rails real tight you will get very little wiggle even with that huge tail piece sticking way out behind you. Only downside, probably weights a hundred grams more than the high end one I had used before.

I am happy with the product. Don't have any other bags to compare it against. However, I can't imagine what improvements could be made.

I had a good experience using the bag at first, but after a few days bikepacking with it loaded up one of the seatpost strap mounts snapped and it became very unstable and difficult to use.
