Experience true Rockford sound in our 2-way component speaker system, including a pair of 6.5" mid-range woofers and a pair of 1" PEI dome tweeters with external crossovers.
The P165-SE features a FlexFit basket for compatibility with various factory speaker mounting locations by allowing a slight adjustment when mounting. The system also features external tweeter crossovers for more precision of frequency cutoff.

Flex Fit Basket Design
The slot mounted frame pattern of the Flex Fit basket utilizes slots instead of single screw sized holes. This allows for a slight adjustment of the speaker when mounted for a better fit.
Tweeter Mounting
Our DDC (Discreet Dual Clamp) Tweeter Mounting provides concentric clamping pressure around the perimeter of the mounting hole. Flush and surface (angled) tweeter mounting hardware included.
External Crossovers
The in-line external crossovers allow installation versatility to get your speaker placement and sound just the way you want it.

Omg where do I start, I hooked theses up to the front channels of a R2 500.4 and once I turned my eq to personal settings the tweeters starting screaming in my ears, I had to readjust the settings because these are a major upgrade to the factory infinity front component speakers the high are clear and the mids from the woofers are very noticeable and no distortion whatsoever, will buy again if I decide to upgrade another audio system in a vehicle

Sound amazing in a Sportage with stock head unit. The sound is really clean, but a little much on the treble in the stock locations. The crossovers are really small and don't have any real customization associated with them, but they still sound awesome. Has really powerful midbass almost completely eliminating a need for a subwoofer for some genre's of music.

They are very bright sounding and you are not able to adjust the tweeter volume on the crossover. I fixed this by using an EQ at the source and can tell you they sound GREAT.Would absolutely buy the ones with the adjustable crossover though next time.I have owned a number of different brands over the years and this one seems to be one of the better built ones.Love Rockford Fosgate gear. You will not be sorry.

Amazing quality. I can truly tell the difference between this and the Bose system I had factory installed. I will say the tweeters are pretty strong when listening to Rap or Hip Hop. It's amazing for Jazz and Classical but the tweeters are more harsh for vocals. I have to reduce treble to offset that depending on what I'm listening to. I may upgrade the tweeters but I'm super satisfied with this product and would definitely recommend this product.

Tweeters are ear-splittingly loud. However, once ive turned the highs WAY DOWN, they sound quite decent. I'm happy, but I would have chosen differently if id known.

I gave myself a car audio upgrade for Christmas and am loving it so far! I'm no audio expert, but it sounds way better than what I had before. Guessing it'll sound even better when I get the kids down the street to help fine-tune the settings. Installed these with 2 sets of 6.5 fosgates and a set of 6x9 fosgate with 2-12†subs with 2 kenwood amps in my truck and this system is loud & clear

Plugged directly into the high level outputs on my head unit. sounds great. I'm hoping they will sound even better when i hook them up to my 4ch amp.
