The most convenient way to get low frequency bass in your system is to drop-in a Punch loaded enclosure. We're not talking junk in the trunk, we're talking the same genuine Punch woofers available separately.
The P2-1X12 is a single 12” Punch P2 DVC subwoofer in a Rockford Fosgate built vented enclosure, with a power handling of 400 Watts RMS and wired to a 1-Ohm load.
Rockford Fosgate’s Punch loaded enclosures are constructed with durable 5/8" MDF and tuned by our computer aided design software to ensure quality sound and high output. Punch P2 loaded enclosures feature similar tonal performance as our P1 models, but with more power handling capacity and dual voice coils to deliver bass you can feel!
The Rockford Fosgate precision-built enclosure and Punch subwoofer make the P2-1X12 an ideal solution to quickly and easily add serious bass to your system. Just wire it to your existing compatible amp and hear the boom!

I have this paired with a Rockford Fosgate 500 watt amp. It’s in my truck and sounds great. No distortion when cranked up. Looks sleek too! The box is solid, would recommend.

Matched this sub enclosure with Rockford Fosgates 500x1 amp. Holy s*** it POUNDS! One of the cheapest loudest systems I have ever had. If you have a 94-04 Ford Mustang you will have to remove spare tire and trunk carpeting as well as the trunk latch to be able to get it into your trunk. (Very easy to do) It’s a big box for a 12 in. sub. Only issue is with doing so, good luck getting your spare tire or trunk carpeting back in. Still giving it 5 starsbecause the bass is absolutely phenomenal for the price! Product comes from Florida so it won’t be the normal Prime 2 day shipping. Mine got here in a week.

When the sub woofer arrived I took it to the installer and paid him to put in the woofer and an amp. He called me to tell me that the woofer did not work after he installed it. I picked up the woofer and had a service man inspect it and was told the woofer had bad coils and wiring and could not be repaired. I had to pay someone to repack the woofer for shipping return. After the installlation fee service fee and repack fee I lost about $25. My advice is beware of Amazon.com.

Very happy with my P-2 1×12!!!! Paired it with Menphis PRD 1000, it hits hard I mean real hard! Rockford Fosgate has a sound of its on! I got that boom in my truck now!!!!

the first one I had it worked for a day but I blew it the day after install. Amazon gave me a free one two days later so I guess I'll be more careful with the next one. great power and very clean hitting sub

Do your measurents properly. Too big for 2012 hyundai..... sounded good in the trunk. Should have ordered the P310 for fitment.too costly to return.I put it in my jeep to test space management since im stuck with it.good product, hits hard enough with R 500.1.doesnt hit midbass notes well... definitely a loss there. Recommend a custom sealed box to spec to receive the right stuff. Lows hit smooth and bass is heard not just felt. Use sealed for trunks (needs more power) vented works for hatch and SUV.god luck. Quality product for price. Rockford still my favorite for my money. Should sound better once broken in.Follow up review: 3/28/2017Broken in and pounding better than expected, did some tuning and my mid-bass has improved.... its a band-pass enclosure so size is an issue but this is a "good bang for the buck" box and should not be underestimated..... recommended.

This sub is packed well and looks impressive out the box. Great size shape and design. Tight, "Punchy" bass. works well for diferent music generes if you want to add some bass to your vehicle. This isnt what you are looking for if you want loose, wobbly, "slump", to show out in the parking lot with, but, this single sub puts out plenty of power to replace many two sub setups and provide rumble for you and your passengers.

This sub has transformed my cars sound system from good to amazing. the bass is deep tight and boomy. The clarity is also awesome but i think that’s due to the fosgate amp and speaker together
