All-In-One Bass With Power!
The Punch P500-12P is an "all in one" solution for adding serious bass to Hatchbacks, Sedans, and SUVs. This model features a 12" high output woofer with a 500-watt internal amplifier and a high output vented enclosure that can be connected via speaker level inputs to factory systems, or traditional line level inputs for aftermarket systems. The enclosure features quick release input and power connectors for easy removal when extra space is required. The "Closed-loop" design ensures optimum performance between woofer, amplifier and enclosure and the slot port provides powerful output at lower frequencies for enhanced bass reproduction. This "all in one" solution is great for systems that need extra Punch on the low-end of the frequency spectrum.

This sub packs a punch. It adds great depth and bass for your casual listening. And don’t worry about bothering the neighbors, you can turn the subs volume down with the bass knob, but the bass is also contained within the vehicle. The car will shake and rattle but there’s other ways to fix that. Over all I LOVE this sub. Great for the price as well

This sounds great in my son's jeep. He wasn't even excited about it for Christmas until he heard it now all his friends want one. Plenty of boom just like my old system but all in one bundle!!!!!

Installed in a 2015 subaru outback with HK sound system and let me just say DAMN.. this thing slaps. Kinda boomy style bass but rattles my rearview pretty solid. Easy install took a day because we wanted to do a super clean install. Tapped into the speakers at the HK amp under passenger seat so only had to take off 4 pieces of panel. No remote wire or rca connections to the stereo makes the install insanely easy. I listen to a lot of hiphop and edm, this sub is loud as hell 😂 definitly recommend for anyone in a hatchback or wagon that wants some solid bass that is easy to diy. Also I got it for $120 off through this amazon deal so it was a steal of a deal for me!

Great sub - it hits. Have it in the trunk, pointed up and it keeps up with the stock deck no problem. It’s not quite the system i had in 2000, but the quality of sound is great now, and it's enough to rattle the rearview.I've got the gain set to next to zero, boost minimal, and crossover ~100hz to catch some more of the mid bass. Remote knob seldom makes it past 60%, and is usually closer to 40%, depending on the music.Great sub. Will say that i got it on a deal. Not sure i'd pay full price - you could probably get a separate amp/sub combo that's a bit louder for that, but all in all, would totally recommend for someone who's looking to add some thump and round out a stock system.

This is a good all-in-one (except for a wiring kit) solution. Came well packaged with no damage. I had mine installed by a pro to keep things as clean as possible. They tapped into the stock sub line which kept things ultra simple and fast. I'll say it hits 3x harder than the stock 8" sub in my '22 Sonata, which includes the Bose premium sound. The sound from the stock Bose system is actually pretty good, but the 8" sub just can't keep up if you don't like super basic levels of bass.This is a drastic difference, but you're not going to be rattling your car apart or annoying your neighbors. It's actually tuned well to keep most of the sound amplified in the car. Playing some rap in the car, I was sure you'd be hearing it loud outside, but outside it's just barely audible. This is a good fit for people who want some punchy kick in their car without sounding like dual 12 neighborhood bangers of your teenage years. The ported enclosure can't quite keep up with accuracy in really fast metal songs, but I wasn't expecting that.I'll note that after the first time of driving this sub, the trunk smelled pretty gross. Not sure if I was driving it too hard or not, but the levels weren't unreasonable. Thinking it's just the amp and glue heating up which I'm hoping goes away with time. All this to say, run it at lower/medium levels for a few days before cranking it up to allow proper break in. Hopefully there's no damage but I hear good thing about RF's warranty claims if it comes to it - and it'll be a super simple swap now that everything is run.. in the worst case.

I have my gain like barely on and it pounds my SUV. I am a distortion freak so I have my gains very low, bass boost very high and the actually stereo bass control 0. The control goes from -10 to +10. I wired it using a speaker to RCA box that it needed and wired it to my factory subwoofers under my seats (Genesis GV80 Prestige/ Lexicon System). If I turn my gain up it gets really distorted mainly due to vibrations happening in the SUV. This isn’t 500watts. It’s 1000watts. This is no joke. Recommend.

This is worthy of the punch name. Takes me back to my old bronco with a ridiculous bandpass wasting gas all the summers of my youth. Easy install in the civic hatch fits like a glove. 8 GA is plenty for this, but I'm having trouble believing it. I've watched for my lights to dim but no issues. My rear view mirror is loosened and pointing down in less than a week. I have sound deadening everywhere and a fancy line out converter, which definitely help with modern signal problems. If you get a good signal to this box you won't be disappointed. Like other reviewers, I have my gain set at 0, xover at 55 hz, and never more than 50% bass boost. Class d really makes a difference over my old AB stuff, civic has tiny battery and alternator but can run this and more. I installed everything myself in an afternoon and have had no issues. I hooked it up the old school way, remote wire off the accessory fuse. I use remote wire for everything. Cant speak to any of the auto turn on features. My wife has come to get me late out of the garage three times this week. I just can't stop listening. So happy we still have Rockford. Fanatic for life. Now on to components and an ear destroying amp.

Bass knob was defective. Box isn't great construction. I installed it in the dark. I went with this speaker because I didn't want to rattle my car, barely adds any bass over factory beats by dre drivers. You can easily get more bass for 500 if you do your own setup. You still do the majority of wiring yourself. Each corner was like this when installing.

Für einen aktiven subwoofer macht dieses Teil ordentlich druck!! Definitiv das Geld wert und ich kann ihn nur weiterempfehlen! Wer auf der Suche nach einer schnellen Verstärkung des Bass ist, wird hier fündig. Bei halber Lautstärke klappert das Auto nicht nur von innen sondern auch von außen! Klare Kaufempfehlung!!
