Meet the next generation of Rockford Fosgate’s Ranger Stage 1 audio kit, an all-in-one audio solution to quickly add sound to your Polaris Ranger. The RNGR18-STG1 audio kit literally installs in minutes, with a plug and play design that replaces the factory center cup holder.
The Punch PMX-1 marine grade media receiver features a 2.3" scratch resistant wet bonded dot matrix display, so it’s built rugged to withstand the elements, but also easy to read in any light, day, or night. The PMX-1 source unit features an AM/FM/WB tuner and Bluetooth connectivity, so it's easy to quickly connect your phone and get your playlist dialed in.
The enclosure also houses a pair of our 5.25” speakers, featuring a full-range coaxial design, which means solid mid bass response and crisp high-end output. Each speaker is rated to handle 50-watts of power in an Element Ready design, so they are built to stand up to the off-road environment.

First of all Rockford has always been an awesome company with great sounding systems. This install took about 5 mins tops. It’s a plug and play system with a factory direct fit. The system sounds amazing even when at high speeds it will completely drown out wind and engine noise at about half volume. Turn it and and it’s so loud it will actually hurt your ears. Sounds great sitting anywhere on the side by side. I have a six seater and no one every says they can’t hear the radio. I absolutely love it.

Easy to install even with the fold out window on the 2025 Northstar crew cab but I had to drill three holes in the baseplate because of the window latch.Sounds good but not overly amazing for nearly 1000.00 dollars Canadian.wiring was very easy and fast to just plug in.

Was reluctant to purchase at first but glad I did. 5-10 minutes install on my 2025 Polaris Ranger XP 1000. Pop 2 oush pins out, remove factory cup holder / tray, insert this radio, push your wire connector thru firewall grommet, slide radio in, re-insert 2 push pins. Done... Plugged directly into pulse bar. Has 2 additional plugs to connect rear speakers if you have them and has a blue amp remote wire. The sound is pretty impressive as well for just being 2 small speakers.Money well spent.

Perfect fit and 5 minute install. Sound quality is subpar for the price point. It serves the purpose if sitting still or riding at low speed; however, you can not hear it on the road and distorts at higher volumes. In all fairness, you cannot expect too much from 5.25 speakers. The unit has outputs for additional speakers. I plan on going that route and will give an update of my review.

This was the easiest installation out of all my accessories on my 2024 Ranger 1000 Crew. It’s loud and crisp I would recommend adding a subwoofer for more bass, but I’m happy as it is.

Cost over $1000 and very poor quality. Radio reception is absolutely terrible. Sounds like a tin can. Sure its easy to install but thats all. Rip off really.
