About this item

  • Silicone Glue Applicator Kit: This 3 piece silicone glue applicator kit is easy, consistent glue application and effortless cleanup wet glue rinses away, and dried glue peels right off!
  • Easy Cleanup: In response to the rave reviews for our silicone glue brush, we are now offering the brush bundled with our flexible silicone tray and silicone spreader, all featuring the same easy cleanup as the original glue applicator brush.
  • Glue Spreader Tool: The silicone spreader is ideal for evenly distributing glue over broad surfaces, such as when gluing up plinth blocks, corbels, or thick table legs. One swipe with the spreader leaves neat rows of "raked" glue, which fill in after a few seconds for perfect distribution.
  • Silicone Tool Tray: The large silicone tray features a small saddle in the end, which holds your brush so that any stray drips go back into the pan when you're not brushing.
  • What’s Included? Our wood glue applicator kit includes (1) Rockler Silicone Brush Applicator For Glue, (1) Rockler Silicone Glue Tray, and (1) Rockler Silicone Glue Spreader.

This glue tray and brush make easy work out of messy glueing projects. I wish I would have bought this years ago! I want the mini roller now too!

These silicone glue applicators are life changing for wood workers. People probably wonder whats all the hype about when it comes to these things. Well if you glued up wood on a regular basis then you would know. There are surprisingly few options for spreading wood glue. I think using acid brushes are the most common method. Even though acid brushes have been used for a long time for this purpose. They have never been a great solution for spreading wood glue in things like rabbits, dados, dovetails, dowel holes, mortises, box joints, and so on. Simply because the little bristles on the acid brushes always seem to come off and end up trapped in the glue on your work piece and you are left trying to pick them out of the glue. Also an acid brush can only be used once and it has to be thrown away because there is no way to clean them. With these silicone brushes though. That same brush can be used over and over again. Wet wood glue can simply be washed off the bush with water, or you can just opt to let the brush sit while the glue completely dries over night and peel the wet glue off the brush the next day. I prefer the later as its easy and the glue tends to peel off in one fell swoop. Best thing about these brushes is they dont leave bristles in the wood. Same goes for the applicator tray and spreader. Rockler really hit the nail on the head with this kit. So if you have not already done it people. Throw away those acid brushes and rollers and pick this kit up. You wont regret it. As someone who glues up wood on a daily basis. These Silicone brushes have been life changing for me.

I HAD to try it.... let glue dry in it and yep, popped right out! I dont think I would try it with Polyurethane glue (gorilla glue, etc) but I did see a pic of that online. Regular wood glue and I am sure Elmers white glue would work well. Made well and seems like it will hold up. I did not realize the tip of the brush has a nice angle to it, works very well to spread glue! I have not used the black blade yet, but imagine it would work well as its made of the same stuff, just have not had to do a large enough glue up yet to accommodate it. Costs a few bucks, but its worth it in the long run! I got sick of using throw away brushes that always leave hairs in my glue ups! This solved that issue!UPDATE! I used the spreading blade and it works great as well, probably the easiest of the 3 to clean. I see they have a mini brush now, on the Rockler site anyway. Going to have to try that as well.

Good model glue set. I would like a larger set if it were available. Easy to clean up. Dried adhesive lifts out to be discarded.

I use the brush a lot. I usually just leave the glue to dry when I finish, it's easy to pull the dry glue off. I have really stretched some of the bristles on this to the point that I was really surprised they did not snap and break. I have found the spreader end is very useful too. The wide black spreader could be useful too for spreading glue on wider surfaces, but I haven't used it yet. The dish is useful in some circumstances, but usually I just dispense glue from a bottle and use the brush or spreader end to even the glue out. With this set and a glue bottle I feel like I am prepared for any glue job.

This glue set was awesome enough for me to leave a review. It's easy to use and clean and has all the supplies for leveling your glue. I'm using it for fabricating costumes and props but I bet it's great for special effects makeup artists as well. Can't believe I didn't have this in my workshop until now. If you're doing any amount of glueing with liquid glue for any craft projects don't debate getting this, it's a total game changer.

I can't believe I didn't purchase this earlier. Makes gluing such much better since there is no need to clean up (just pull off the dried glue and wipe it off. Much easier and more efficient.

I truly wish I had bought this product sooner because it definitely helps in the glue up process. The clean up afterwards is also a snap..!! Thanks

I should have bought this years ago. It is easy to clean when the glue dries out and feels like a high quality product. I will be getting another for non food safe glues.

Il pennello trattiene e rilascia bene la colla vinilica, la spatola la spande con grande omogeneità e la vaschetta si pulisce estremamente bene, così come gli altri due strumenti. Non si può volere o pretendere altro da un set per incollare in silicone.

The tip comes loose sometimes, no biggie but kinda annoying.
