I read other reviews before I wrote one...this is not the shoe you buy if u r looking for real boots...this is a chukka style...with a higher profile...in other words...these are shoes...the leather is I think made to stay uniform longer than to be soft to touch...the leather feels like lower to mid tier dress shoe leather...If ur looking for something like a Thursday boot...or durable, winter ready leather...look elsewhere...but I loved mines for the purpose!...PS...im in FL...send up very good to rain in my opinionVery comfortable...no need to buy wide...

The boots will make a great accessory to your wardrobe. Please consider that the boots are not a snow, winter or rain boots. The boots are a true dress causal style item. You may need to add a separate pair of waterproof dress or dress causal boots or snow boots to your wardrobe if you live in a cold or rainy climate. The boots are rather ruggedly built, but they are not clunky. They may feel a little stiff during your first two wearing, but they will soon loosen-up and begin to feel more and more comfortable. The boots will look quite stylist with a pair of jeans or with a pair of very nice dress slacks. The boots has the appearance of a much more expensive pair. Please purchase a neutral color shoe shine sponge or a sponge the color of the boots in order to keep your boots looking their maximum best. The only issue I have with the boots is that they often come untied due to the apparent waxing on the laces; however, inexpensive replacement laces from Amazon or your local store will take care of that.

These shoes are not horrible. they are built decent, look good, and are light on the foot. Now the down side. Worse than most third- world made shoes, these shoes aren't just smaller than standard UK or USA size standard, they are extremely narrow. Than God I listened to another reviewer that said to buy them wide. GOOD CALL FOR TWO REASONS! 1/ the wide size offers a nice and roomy toe box and arch support for a standard male D width and 2/ there is NO arch support in these shoes at all (thanks to yet another reviewer for mentioning that need- got mine!). I bought the shoes right alongside a pair of Dr. Scholls basic arch inserts and it literally transforms the shoes from being a torture device to a comfortable, casual work shoe that you can tolerate all day. Tjhe soles are soft and so they wear down wherever you slide or drag your feet, but thats to be expected. the uppers have a worn in look immediately which is fine as it fits the shoe, but the lining is man- made so there is sweating in warm weather. So in closing, they are not great but doable for guys with big feet, as long as you get wide sizing. I am a 14D standard width foot all day long and I definitely needed the wide on these.

I had a pair of Cole Haan chukkas for about 3 years. They had leather veneer strips on the heel (to make it look like a leather heel, but it was purely cosmetic), and one of the strips gave way. I used glue to repair it, but it only bought me another 2 months. Then, of course, they had discontinued that model, which led to a search for a replacement. THESE ARE MUCH BETTER! The pic above is after wearing them for 3 days in a row, and I like them better each day. A very short break-in period, and I think they're the perfect height. On top of that, the heel/sole (it's all one composite unit) looks like it will outlast the upper. While they are not leather lined, I don't think that takes away from the quality, and they are a GREAT VALUE (and a great looking chukka boot). I highly recommend them, and am thinking about buying a second pair just to put back as a spare.

These companies are horrendous. The surface of the shoes is painted. It is not leather. Amazon is being destroyed by these companies selling their trash in the U.S. They take us for fooled…. Runnnn awayyyy..👎ðŸ»

La calidad es muy buena son muy cómodas valen la pena, solo que vienen grandes como medio número pedà 26cm creo que el 25.5 me hubiera quedado perfecto pero me gustaron mucho me las quedaré.

Es un calzado sumamente cómodo, fresco y de un aspecto agradable, francamente nunca habÃa adquirido esta marca de zapatos, pero este calzado no defrauda en absoluto, es amplio, por lo que sugiero adquirir tu talla exacta a menos que te agraden los zapatos amplios. Me fue tan bien con esta adquisición que compre otro modelo de la misma marca, ahora de mi talla, y estoy muy agradecido porque la comodidad es increÃble.
