Works well for our church midrange speakers. The price is very affordable and accessible. Good enough, recommended.

Nice unit! Simple and easy to hook up with lots of options for input. I have each channel going into 8 ohms. It's not real loud but my input source (Behringer mixer) isn't cranked way up either, so that's a factor. I really don't need a lot of volume anyway. The sound is clean and pretty flat without a lot of inherent bass or treble. If you wanted to boost those you could do it at the source.Contrary to what others have posted the fans are just about silent...so no problems there. The controls have a good feel to them and the unit appears to be well made.Delivery was one day earlier than originally quoted and the packaging was in perfect condition.

Ive had this power amp for about a month now and have used it for 2 or 3 Gigs. I bought it to power a Mesa Boogie 4×12 guitar Cab. My sound light guy was cracking jokes and talking negative about it, until he saw what it could do. Even if it doesn't push a true wattage of 1000, it is overwhelming powerful. It does everything I need. The only thing I do not like about it is the only output is Speak-on cables. Multiple inputs including combo jacks, RCA, and others. But only Speak-on for outputs??Sorry Rockville, I almost gave a 5 star, but that was expensive and annoying to have to purchase a Speak-on to 1/4 inch just to utilize it and connect it to my guitar cab

This product worked fine for a couple of months then the signal started cutting out intermittently. It doesn't work at all right now. We have missed our window to return the item to Amazon so we are stuck with this piece of junk.

I read thoroughly the various reviews. I completely disagree with criticisms about loud fans, in addition to a couple of nonsensical bipolar rants. Here's my review: You can't get a better bang for your bucks with this amp. It rocks! Everything about it is great in my book. The fans loud? Good lord, I have no idea why some people say that. Mine are quiet, and I'm using this amp to replace a retired old Parasound, (which was an amazing amp in itself, but it's finally dying). It's now serving as part of my DAW gear, which doesn't need to be dance club level loud. It's to record and track original music. No, I don't use it for deejaying, (they like everything loud and boomy). Maybe that's why they're complaining? Anyway, It's slightly louder than my Parasound with the addition of bridging and a crossover, (another novelty for deejay use). The amp drives my studio monitor speakers clean. And the instructions it came with are a standard of modern industry, (and I clearly understood them). A lot of the internal components are made in Japan, and as far as I can tell, it was constructed in China. But with all QC, engineering and design in the USA. Bottom line....simply awesome!

I usually try to buy the old school name brands for my studio i.e. Crown, Alesis, Roland but the prices are so high or items not available any more that I sided with this tank. Heavy as a minny finny and more then enough push to 'git er done'! The fan noise in my environment is a non item since I can isolate vocals etc!

I have been replacing my studio equipment as needed over the years with many Rockville products. I can truly say from personal experience that the Rockville speakers, rack effects, amps and more are as good as JBL's, Peavey's and Behringer's I've replaced with Rockville.I was skeptical at first but bought large passive PA speakers to test. Took me a moment to get them tuned correctly. But once I figured out their response they matched the very expensive ones they replaced. And for a fraction of the cost. Eventually I had to replace some of my older equipment like: dual 31 band eq racks, 32 band power mixers, dual channel power amps, monitors, powered bass sub woofers and more. Haven't been disappointed yet. Plus the cost has been lower than when I bought the name brand equipment 10-20 yrs ago! That's all great but, what really won me over was a moment when I had to deal with customer service. I don't think the problem was their fault. But they made sure to get me taken care of. I can't say enough good things about the products and the company! Thank you.

This amplifier is a darn good one, I bought this to replace my old amplifier and it walks circles over my old one. It has a natural sound and is crisp and clear sounding. It arrived early and this amp is excellent. The cooling fans are whisper quiet until the heatsink gets warm, The fans run a little faster and they do a excellent job keeping it cool. The power is great for my E1200C speakers and I have never heard them sound so good before. It takes alot to put the amp in to clipping because I couldn't even get the clip LEDs to flicker let alone light up, the speakers are way too loud to turn up full tilt. Solid amp and it is built with excellent craftsmanship. There is not one thing crappy about this power amplifier, And I definitely recommend this to anyone.🙂ðŸ‘ðŸ‘âââââ🇨🇦Update: I have had this power amplifier for a while now and I have had no issues with it what so ever and I love it so much that I ordered a second one and should take some of the load off one powering four speakers, One for one pair and another for the other pair. Then it will really make them sing. All in all, Good solid amp and the fans make virtually no noise I find, You really have to listen with no audio playing to hear the fans running. I have a feeling that I will own these rpa5 amps for a long time. Nothing bad that I can say about the amp. Great value for the money. Oh, and one thing, You should get a pre amp to get full sound, One with volume and tone controls, And this amplifier is even better.🇨🇦

works well needed a pre amp to activate it it is my first power amp im useing to run to ass kickers bass shakers looks good corner was bent on erar tab when i opend it but it was soft metal i used my hand to fix it the front tabs are thick ans sturdy the fan is quit loud playing ps4 on my home theater at average volumes i can hear the fan still it throws a lot of air the 2 fans i think the noise is because the fans are tight to the back cage i might cut the metal cage out from behind the fans im shore this will cut the nois in half had the problme on a pc once but i can live with it if not it wuill never over heat but if used to power to loud speakers like its built for you would never hear it of course im pleased with this amp

The amp works great for my main midrange drivers but I would no trust it with driving a subwoofer.

The fans are so loud that you cannot hear music over it.
