This is a beautiful and powerful PSU but it's atx 3.0 and pcie 5.0 compatible. If you're in the market for a new power supply don't do what i did and buy a power supply that isn't atx 3.1 if you want to be future proof . Other than that it's been great with an asus z890 maximus eextreme , core ultra 7 265k, asus rtx 4080 super , 96gb of corsair dominator titanium 6600mhz . If you don't mind not having a proprietary out put on your power supply for the 12v GPU socket and don't mind using the 2 pcie to 12v cable this PSU is top tier. Like i said though if you're spending the money i recommend finding an atx 3.1 power supply to future proof yourself .

Update: 850W is not sufficient for a 4090 build, no matter how many Reddit posts on the internet claim it’s fine. Give yourself some headroom - I returned this gorgeous piece unfortunately to get a 1000W instead.I did not expect this PSU to be as nice as it is - clear fan, copper elements and metal fan cover - it’s excellent and worth the splurge. Don’t make the same mistake I did, however - I didn’t realize an ATX PSU would look ridiculous in an E-ATX case. It did not occur to me that there were different sizes of PSUs. Next up: new case. lol
