I want to start by giving this 5 stars but with a caveat. It is a five star device as long as you understand that it's not a 5.1 surround sound system and have the appropriate expectations.The Roku Streambar SE combines the functionality of a compact soundbar with the added function of a Roku streaming device which is two great things to have in one package.First I'll talk about the device itself and some advantages. The device has a compact design that easily blends into any home entertainment setup. It doesnt take up much room below the TV like a 2 foot long sound bar would. It features a couple decent speakers that deliver clear and relatively immersive sound. Compared to just TV speakers, there is a big jump in audio quality of your movies, shows, and music. There is a noticeable amount of bass, mids, and voice clarity. But it's not going to be as good as a larger soundbar with a dedicated subwoofer.I love the Roku functionality and that it has 4K, HD, and HDR streaming capabilities versus some of the lower end Roku sticks. You get crisp and vibrant video playback. And all of the apps associated with a Roku device.Setting up the Streambar SE is straightforward with Roku's guided setup process. It integrates well with any modern TV, offering a user-friendly interface that allows quick access to a wide range of streaming channels and apps. It's much less complicated than a multi-piece soundbar.As a Roku device, the Streambar SE provides access to thousands of channels and streaming services, including popular platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. It supports wireless connectivity, allowing you to stream content directly from your smartphone or tablet to the TV screen. This is of course the case for any Roku device.The Price is extremely competitive at netween 80 and a 100 bucks. You get a lot of value for anyone looking for an easy upgrade their TV's sound quality while gaining access to a versatile streaming device. I keep stating this but having both in one device is very beneficial.Overall, The Roku Streambar SE is an ideal choice for anyone seeking to improve their TV's audio performance and streaming. Itbhas a very compact design, decent enough sound quality, and a great Roku interface. it's a great device that caters to someone looking for a simple upgrade, someone with limited space, or someone that just wants better sound and doesn't need theater surround sound, which is probably a large amount of people.A side note. This is a relatively new model. There is a larger model that slots above it if you want to increase the sound quality. You can also add a subwoofer to this for extra cost which would improve the bass response. It's nice to have the flexibility.

Verg easy to set up and use.The remote is pure dynamite ! Set the volume for normal adult use or blow your teens away with volume..Great product,great value,own 2 and will buy a 3rd.

I love the size of this small sound bar and Roku box all in one! The quality for me is fine. I'm not an expert on sound bars. But the sound quality from my TV was terrible. And I didn't like having to use the TV remote to find my Roku input every time I wanted to watch something. This streambar solved both issues! The sound is great, easy to control and a great improvement over what was coming out of my LG. And the Roku remote controls the power to the TV and goes right my Roku home screen. I love it! I have not tried it yet, but I read online that the streambar can also be paired with bluetooth headphones.

This is a great simple speaker for my non-smart TV. I've been using a roku streaming device on my TV and controlling the box with one remote and the TV volume/power with another remote. The TV speakers gave out finally. So, I hooked this up and removed my roku streaming box. This allows me one remote for the volume and the streaming apps. Unfortunate, my Samsung TV is not compatible with CREC so I still use a separate remote for the TV power but everything else is from this one roku SE remote. Also, I would have liked some sort of mounting bracket with this streambar.

This sound bar works great and is easy to set up. Perfect size for the bedroom. The volume control is fantastic. Being A Roku product you get the advantage of all the Roku channels and easy connectivity to the web through Bluetooth or hardwired. Well worth the money.

Bought to replace my old soundbar. This is SO much better, gave my old Roku device to my MIL and kept this, it’s got it all in one! Works great as long as my internet works and I love that I can actually control the volume using just one remote instead of switching back and forth now. It was super easy to set up, just plugged a couple wires in. It has all the same channels that a typical Roku device does and once I logged in most of my streaming services automatically logged in as well so serving up was really a breeze

Just purchased this to function as monitor speakers for my Mac mini given the airplay functionality. I’ll speak to the sound quality and as someone who is also a Roku user that also has its older brother the streambar.Sound >> this is a basic, stereo 2 driver soundbar that actually punches above its weight given the size. Do not expect Dolby atmos or virtual surround sound, that is not the intended use case of this product. Its use case is for small TVs/spaces where sound upgrade is needed at a solid price (would only get this when it’s on sale at $69 or $79).Streamer >> similar to the sound functionalities intended audience/use case, this streamer is for relatively niche TVs/monitors that are either (1) old, or (2) too small where all the advanced picture quality features like Dolby vision, HDR 10/+ aren’t available to begin with. I think the fact the streambar SE comes with 4K HDR is pretty solid in of itself, but others may complain and want “moreâ€.As mentioned above, for my use case as desktop speakers for my Mac mini, this is probably overkill but hey for ~$10 more than comparable dedicated desktop monitor speakers ($40-$60 range vs on sale price of streambar at $69), this seems like a great value imo. Plus, most Mac mini users might use a HomePod mini instead that usually runs $10 more expensive at its on sale price ($79) - I think the streambar SE > HomePod mini for sound purposes.Oh, also forgot to mention this streambar has Bluetooth, airplay, chromecast and Spotify connect.Overall, this is a value, niche play here for someone who wants to upgrade an old and/or small basic tv that double functions as a streamer+soundbar and doesn’t have or need all the Dolby/HDR 10/+ hoopla. And for sub-$70 when on sale, this is a great value.

I find this soundbar is even better than the Bose one I had! You can adjust treble, bass and voice enhance for crisper sound when watching the news or talk shows. I highly recommend, and the price is so little for what you get. And it's a bonus that it is like a fire stick to make your TV smart. Get this soundbar!

Bought the Roku Streambar SE to enhance the sound on content played through streaming - especially Music (Spotify & Apple Music) - fulfils that goal.However the device was shipped with a US plug (I think it was US, Might be Europe) - suffice to say it doesn't wok in the UK without an adapter.... hence the 2 star rating

The unit I previously bought at best buy works great, ordered this new from seller and got a used system with an open package, Scratched up remote and speaker, and battered packaging. Super disappointing
