I purchased this drum as used but to my surprise is was new, had never been played, absolutely 100% mint. Very happy with.

This is the second Roland ten inch pad of this style that I have purchased. These pads have a very hot spot in the center of the pad. The volume is probably at least twice as loud when you hit the center. So no I’m not happy about this pad. I have 15 other Roland pads and these are the only pads I’m not happy with.

This is genuine Roland and it is perfect, but what I received is white. It is supposed to be black. Seems like I am not the only one who ordered this black and received white instead.

Functionally the PD-105 met my expectations. It has a nice physical rebound and replaces an Alesis DM10 pad that felt like hitting a rubber coated board. The DM10 mistriggered about 20% of the time, the Roland has yet to mistrigger. The reason I rated it at only 4 stars is the marketplace vendor mislabled the product. Both the description and the picture on Amazon showed a black unit. The unit is actually white. It looks cool in with all my other black pads, so did not return it.
