I bought these for my 9yr old to take on our camping trip and they survived! Lol! That's why I say "sturdy!" The fit him well, I really like the look and the weight of these pants. Just stretchy enough for all his running around and thick enough not to rip right away. They were warm enough for the night air, and yet not too heavy for the warmer daytime weather. He likes them too! I would recommend.

These pants hold up well to active boy use. They are warm, but not too bulky.

I bought this for my7 yr old, he is tall and skinny, but it still holds well; the band elastic was made with that in mind....The material is good. Didn't fade after wash but I think air drying will help preserve the color on the long run. The only con is the draw string, it's too long looks. My son loves it.
