This is quite solid and seemingly well made for a new bench vise. I was a little concerned because they "dont make em like they used to" but was pleasantly surprised. Perfect for the home shop and random use.

For the price you can't beat it. Quality control and workmanship gave room for improvements. The casting for the channel that allows it to rotate had extra casting that prevented the vise from rotating. I had to file off the extra metals. The bolt for rotating the head was loose. It has a shoulder on the shank so it should be tight and the head can still rotate easy along the base. No lubrication between the head and the base. I lube it up and it rotates nicely. I haven't mounted or used it yet but I will update review later.
