I like the way these boots look. Not being a boot wearer, I was skeptical about this product, but I was pleasantly surprised.At first glance, they appeared to be of decent quality. Unlike typical cowboy boots, these have good tread on the bottom to provide traction in slick or wet conditions. The top of the boots fan out wide which leads me to believe they are designed to be worn with pants inside the boot. I feel this looks a bit goofy, but if I'm working who cares? They could probably be worn with the pants leg over the top of the boot, but it would require some softening of the boot top.I received a size 12 because boots tend to run a little small. I usually wear an 11 1/2, but these were too big. I like the extra room but the 12 is too much. I would say order the size you normally wear and enjoy the extra room. I have claustrophobic toes anyway and they panic when they can't move around in my footwear.The final verdict is a solid four stars. These boots will likely not be mistaken for 300.00 name-brand boots, but they present themselves as a solid alternative to spending that much.
