(padding on seat and on backrest are medium-hard; not medium; not-soft-medium; )this very-well may be something shared among Professional Dentistry People? it's "made in China" written all over the box but quite nice quality-components;I really couldn't tell Anyone; what a Dental Chair is supposed to be-like whether comfortable or "stiff;"for me & for a kitchen to use this to cook and do my-dishes, I like it enough; the arm-rest or swivel it on your own to rest your back against or swivel to rest your arm and back at-once is "GREAT."I think the chair is 4-stars for "comfort" - quite-honestly; the components are excellent (very good heavy components; strong-welds; Good Quality.The wheels are 3-5 - 4.0 stars. They have a softer plastic coating over a thin rubber wheel underneath that rolls well on kitchen floors or hardwoods; They are "plenty-good." I always want expensive castors but that's the problem... they're very-expensive. These are pretty decent;Best regards.> I don't think it's been 2-weeks and I'm changing this to 5-stars. It's super fast in my home and great for doing everything from moving "me" around to working doing dishes or cleaning; getting to the bathroom w/o a cane; going from one of the house ... to another and grabbing food to go back to where I was; I use it with my arms on the walls to propel myself and use my legs to push-myself around. I also go slow and use my feet "walking" when my body isn't working as 'Great'. For now this thing is worth twice the price because it's a "heck of a price." best-regards.
