Very smooth. Loads easily and heavy without dripping. I'm a professional carpenter and I rarely find a paint roller that can load and hold paint without collecting excess along the edges and dripping. These do not do that. Worth the price.

I find these rollers to leave a really even texture when loaded properly. I run the tape method to remove lint before use, but tape is always lint free. Also paint goes on lint free. First rollers I have used that truly don't give off lint.

I have used this type of roller on painting my doors and it is very close to it appearing like a spray paint finish. I've done my newly plastered walls with these rollers and they are worth the investment. The results are amazing, super smooth finish, with no noticeable texture finish, as you would get with other paint rollers.
