I never had a roller that performed like this one. I painted most all of our rooms in the House and one 20x30Storage room. The old rollers from Lowes made big messes and the roller refills slid off during painting.Rolling dog roller is great had almost no mess and rolls stayed on.

Have a few different roller frames and this one is my absolute Favorite. Xtra- Smooth roll, straight and true. Even holds the roller cover better so no roller slide.It's as close to perfect as they come.

This roller is the top of its class. This roller is the Bob Ross of rollers. It paints happy trees and clouds with ease.

I bought two of these, and even watching videos on how to remove the roller after painting, I was unable to remove the roller without the top breaking off on both of them. I purchased another brand and had no problems with it.

When done painting roller won’t come off had to pry off with screwdriver next day new roller same thing just threw it away roller still stuck on

It’s a LOVELY wood handle but the thing is too heavy. I returned it due to that.

The handle is of good wooden construction. My only concern is that paint will eventually be unable to wash off of it.It is very comfortable when holding and has a better grip than others i've used.The cage is typical and average with plastic end caps and holds the standard size roller. That part is unimpressive.The handle design and wood construction does emit a heavy duty quality with the grip better than most giving the impression of good durability.For the cost is has value and i see it lasting longer than many others.It also includes the features of an extension pole screw on hole to get harder reaching surfaces.

Turns out your mom wanted 9.5" not 9". Bummer for me. Apparently she said the standard is 9.5"

Sturdy, comfortable grip. But rolls are wider (?!), so it easily leaves marks/lines.

After 30+ years using a variety of roller cages for personal and work, I have never had any roller cage break. Ever. Cheap or a brand name. This purportedly "heavy duty" roller cage broke after less than 6 hours of use. It is more than just a "lemon" or a "one-off flaw". What designer would just shove a small double flanged metal stem directly into wood and think it would last under use and pressure? What a hassle and waste of time to deal with this. Do yourself a favor and at least buy a one that has the metal rod fused into the plastic handle....I had an inkling when I saw the product and should have listened to that little voice saying "that doesn't sound right"
