My kids were complaining that our basic rubber curry was not getting the job done, from the thicker coated horses to saddle pad cleaning. (Yes, we expect a lot from our curry combs). Our training barn had a version of this one, so I picked up a couple. They work much better than a rubber curry. The teeth get in a little more without being too harsh, and the whole comb is less flimsy. I plan on picking up a couple more so each kit has one.

I purchased this to use for my German Shorthair Pointer and I am pleased with the results. I think the flexibility of it helps to make it a pleasant experience for both of us. It has quickly become an essential grooming tool and helps keep a lot of the hair outside!

Bought this for my hound and it works great! Used to use them on my horse and was not able to find small curry combs and any feed stores anymore, glad they are available and so affordable on Amazon!

I have used rubber curry combs before. I like them a lot for short haired dogs and cats. This one works well, but is a little more stiff than i would like. Softer ones usually create static that clumps the hair together that you brush out of the animal which makes it easy to clean up. This one still gets a lot of hair out of my cat.

I actually bought this to use on my short-haired dogs. I had horses almost all my life and haven't a clue why I didn't think to try this on my dogs sooner!!! Works better than any other thing I've tried for removing shedding hair from their coats.

I use this on my Rhodesian Ridgeback dog and he LOVES it! Really works wonders on short coated dogs (my friend's pitbull loved it also). i liked how flexible it was.

perfect for what it is, but I bought another, nicer "deck broom type" of brush that the dwarf goats like better.If this is what you want, this is PERFECT.
