This is heavy construction and a nice quality. It slips on easily and locks down tight. The install is far simpler than even getting the trailer onto the ball. This is a very nice unit to slip on when stored to stop a snatch and grab at a reasonable price.

I have always bought these locks for my trailers. They are effective and don't seem to rust, even though they are outside year round. Would recommend to anyone. They are good for the cost.

It does its job and is very easy to install and use. It will keep honest people honest. But this trailer hitch lock appears to be made of aluminum rather than steel. The lighter weight makes it easier to handle and use, but it also makes it easier to break. For the prices (especially with the 40% discount) it is a good buy. But I would not trust it to keep my trailer safe in a high-crime area or to secure a high-value load.

I had a brand name lock and the key was being terrible......I ordered this to replace it and it comes with a actual key.....not some funky key......build quality seems decent......does the job at half the price
