Bought this and the RMBR HEMP to compare, and I'm keeping this one.Thinner than the RMBR, but more rigid with lots of sticking (like those freakish, wirey, skinny dudes)Width is fine.Color is deep.Belt feels solid. I estimate it needs to last at least another decade before my next one. Short busses take more time.If anything changes, I'll change my rating.Peace.

I'm not a black belt yet, but hopefully will receive it by this time next year. I placed the order and received it next day via Prime. I haven't had a chance to wear the belt yet and will provide an updated review when I can wear it. First impression is that it is very well cleanly and tightly stitched; no frays or loose stitching; and feels sturdy/durable to withstand rolling. Minimal branding that is tasteful on the stripe bar.**UPDATE**Got awarded my black belt in December and am able to wear this to class. It's SUPER durable and good quality; you'll need to wash it once to get it loose enough to stay well-tied b/c I found it constantly coming off when I roll until it got broken in. Still looks pristine and no frays despite me rolling 3-4 classes a week. This belt should last me until I earn that coral belt 25 years from now!

I did not like this belt at first. It felt stiff as cardboard and the knot was the size of my head. However, after a few washed and dryer cycles on high heat to shrink it, and some fabric softener to help with the knot, the belt is amazing. It just has a great feel to it, hard to describe. Also, I really like the color. It’s in between the baby blue of the Fuji standard belt and the dark blue of the Fuji deluxe. Highly recommend this belt.

The belt looks great and feels really good. It's wider than any belt I've ever owned and heavier. Unfortunately, my very first time wearing this belt, before class even started, I noticed the size tag frayed almost completely off. Pretty disappointing considering all I'd done at this point was tie the belt. Makes me wonder if it's a fluke or shoddy craftsmanship.

This belt sucks:- I ordered an a2 blue the seller ripped off the a4 tag and gave it to me.- the belt is too heavy and extra thick making it look stupid and uncomfortable- by the belt being extra thick when it wraps around your waste it’s too short luckily I was given an a4 so it almost fit my size A2 waste- over priced feels cheap don’t waste your money

I bought my belt from the Ronin Amazon store. The material felt great but the stitching was was sub par. The label was not stitched properly on one side and the grading strip was crooked on the belt i received. Emailed Ronin with no reply.I would go with an Isami or Kataaro instead.

The quality is very poor and threads are not stitched in a neat way - this is not the Made in Japan quality one would expect. Returned for a refund.

Loose threads and the stitching is not evenly spaced and the ends are misaligned - returned for a refund. Disappointed in the poor workmanship and quality
