I am a very short and very large guy that carries my weight primarily in my abdomen and I do have a history of being very physically active and my daughter wanted me to get back into Karate and take lessons with her, at our dojo if a kid signs up the parent can start for free as well, I got a size 6 GI from our sensei but it's extremely tight and doesn't quit fit on the pants properly it's a bit hard to do proper kicks with right now, so these size 7's fit great if you are short and overweight, they are also a lot shorter in pant length than my Century GI pants. I definitely plan to buy a full Ronin GI once I lose some more weight. Absolutely love the way these feel, they feel very high quality and comfortable.

Bought color black, size 4. I am 186cm, 80kg. The fit around the waist is abhorrent. It sits on the edge of my butt crack even with pants pulled all the way up things do not improve because the front rise has been designed incredibly low. I have read similar complaints from others.

Great use in Karate, traditional tie in the waist. Size 6 fits me well although slightly too long. I’m 6 ft tall with 38 waist around 200 pounds. I have muscular legs and butt and normally wear size 2xL pants. They do wrinkle quite a bit, but I usually let them air dry by hanging and it doesn’t wrinkle as much. I do like these very much. Extremely comfortable. I’ll probably take them to a tailor to have them taken up an inch or two. I always step on the slack when I practice naihanchi if you know what I mean. Give your katas a ‘pop’

These pants are great. There's no elastic in the waist and the drawstring is the real, old-style gi pants. The fabric weight is perfect - not light, but not the stiff canvas. They're perfect for beginners or advanced martial artists. I'm very happy with this purchase.

These shrink uP alot, no room in gusset. Plus it looks like a used lint roller.

La calidad es buena, parece ser resistente, me gusto la profundidad del negro, el único detalle es que por el tipo de tela atrae cualquier pelusa, pelito o microfribas y sumamente difÃcil mantenerlo en buena apariencia. Al final de cada entrenamiento queda lleno de pelusas y micro basura que atrae y se le pega y no es tan fácil retirarle las pelusas, requiere mucho mantenimiento si se quiere tener buena apariencia acorde a la disciplina. Estoy acostumbrado a los pantalones de artes marciales y este no me ha sido muy cómodo el amarre en cintura, me resulta muy voluminoso y se me afloja muy pronto, tengo que meter mucha presión al hacer nudo para que resista.
