When you walk in the door, this is the first room you see, we had to put a bed in here for now, this actually covers it well without looking very tacky. If someone comes into the entry way, they do not see the bed. We haven’t put anything on it yet. And if you are moving it around a lot, that will be difficult because the stuff will fall. I actually been line drying some of my clothes on it and it’s been sturdy for that. I like it for the price. We plan on using the shelves to decorate for Christmas. The shipping price is high, but I just compared the entire overall price to other room dividers for sale. So, I would not let the shipping price deter you. If you buy a room divider somewhere else with free shipping then you are paying like $70+ for the item. So, I believe it’s a good product for the money. It is very easy to maneuver around. If I need a second one later, I would buy this again.

This is a nice addition to my condo. It is attractive and the shelves come in handy. It could be a bit more sturdy though. That is why I gave it four stars. The price is right as well. Would recommend as an attractive room, economical divider.

So I was worried parts of the wood in this would flake off, or that it would fall over a lot, especially because i have a cat and I was going to use this to block off the litter box. I was expecting him scratch it up, to jump up on to the shelves and for it to fall over. But NO! this thing is SO sturdy and solid I use it as a movable wall nowadays. I use it almost as a baby gate to block the door, the cat tries to push it over but it stands firm, and the scratching did nothing to the actual divider. Everything on the shelves stays steady, even when my cat jumps up onto them. It can handle a LOT of abuse. This is SUCH a great purchase especially for the price. It also looks GREAT!! it's extremely dramatic and eye catching. When I took pictures of my living room, I got so many compliments on this guy lol. It is great!

Five stars on everything except I put four stars for "sturdiness" but that's not a diss, I'm just saying it's lightweight and the shelves might be a tad too weak to put anything heavy on it. That's no problem for me as I have a plethora of knick knacks from my travels. Light house plants, framed photos, really it will hold anything I just wouldn't put anything heavy or breakable (just in case) & definitely can't be used for books. I have a couple of small books, plants, statues and stuff like that. It almost has a hand crafted look to it and this espresso brown color matches my furniture perfect! My kitchen and front room are just one room so the divider breaks it up perfectly! The shelves are functional and I needed the extra shelf space for so many knick knacks. I'm a big knick knack guy. I am truly happy with this purchase it's adds the perfect touch to my new apartment and I feel proud to invite folk into my place when I used to be like uh, just drop me off right here 🤣 Thanks Amazon I forgive you for the last time you f'd up my order you've won back my heart. Now just treat your employees better and we'll be good!!! But for real I definitely recommend this for your interior designer needs I feel like a pro. Can I have my own TV show now?

I bought this to help split up the living room space in my one bedroom apartment. I wanted to make sure the divider i purchased wouldn't be too big and make the room feel small and I didn't want it to block out all the natural light. This was the perfect fit for the room and still allows some light through the woven pieces. The shelves are great and hold more than I would've guessed. They can't hold heavy weight so I just have a few picture frames and plants but holds great!Also it's very sturdy and hasn't tipped over or been pushed over by my cat!

I bought two sets, and they are so light, not sturdy. They are expensive, and the additional cost of shipping is $35.I won't recommend it.

It’s so beautiful and large and long, it’s so beautiful, and I love the shelving! You gotta be careful with how much you put on it, and not put anything toooo heavy..but enough to put a cute few things on it.The only thing I will say however..is that luckily the item wasn’t damaged BUT the package itself was damaged, it had holes and damages, so I was really worried that the item would have damages but luckily not!
