Each Ghanti Bells Wood Screen is carefully crafted and assembled by hand. Using a combination of Mango wood and medium density fiber board a singularly beautiful piece is created. Each screen is hand carved and hand polished with carving on both sides making it doubly more useful. Screen stands 72 inches high and comes in 4 panels (20 inches each) totaling 80 inches wide. There are 36 bells incorporated into the design, 9 on each panel. The screen is extremely sturdy and substantial. The screen arrived quickly. It was packed very carefully. Box has lots of those desiccant packs to absorb any moisture.Yes, there are a few small places where the stain didn't cover the base (MDF?), on the inside where it's difficult to reach. That doesn't bother me, as it's hardly noticeable.The screen looks like solid wood and has nice carved details on both sides. I can smell varnish but it's not strong.I wanted to hide an ugly pile of plastic storage bins, and it does the job.The closeup picture is with the flash on; the wood looks much darker than that one picture.It's heavy, so it's sturdy and stays in place fine on hardwood flooring. I curved it around the pile of bins, so you can only see 3 panels in the pictures, but it has 4 panels.

Ordered this to help divide up an awkward "great room" and shield everyone's eyes from my hideous dual monitor standing desk set up. The area that is in is adjacent to an antique sofa and chair, so we thought this would go well with the non-ugly decor. When it arrived I was surprised at how heavy it was. I was expecting something more akin to set-dressing - don't look at it too long, it's just designed to imitate the real thing. Instead, it was actually the real thing. Solid wood, 6ft tall, and the design I selected has bells (brass?) inset in each panel. It looks quite at home with the Queen Anne revival furniture, and is functional as well - you no longer "see" the home office set up because you're too busy staring at the room divider. Yes, it does smell like varnish, so if you plan to keep it in a smaller room, I would recommend letting it air in a garage, covered balcony, etc. for a day or so to let the odor dissipate. It is also very securely packaged for shipping. I would not hesitate to recommend this item for anyone looking for a unique and functional piece of decor.

OH HAPPY DAY!I ordered this to (don't laugh) hide a "busy" pantry before a Christmas party. It is perfect!Here's what I love:It is actually made of real wood, not that pressed/pretend wood I hate.It is lovely. The carving is fantastic.It is well made. It would take a lot to knock it over, even by a strong wind, which will make it fabulous on my deck this summer.I love the little bells. It adds a happy bit of whimsy to it.The color is rich and consistent.The price is AMAZING! After looking online at other places like World Market or Wayfair, I found similar ones were more expensive and often smaller. This is a winner!Buy it, you will love it!

I’ve had this as my headboard on king size bed for about two years. I love it. It never smelled and it came in great condition. No bugs. I was worried about that from another review, but I didn’t have any problems like that. I put felt pads on the back so it doesn’t scratch the wall. It stays in place. It’s beautiful! I would definitely recommend.

We are using this screen to divide our living room/dining area of our apartment so it is not just one big space. It not only does this job perfectly, but we are very surprised at the better -than -expected quality of the screen! It is real hardwood, no manufactured wood here, and is beautiful and hand carved. It came assembled, and is very heavy, which is good since it is so sturdy and real wood. I would have expected to pay at least 4 times the amount for this kind of quality, and we are very pleased. The only thing to be aware of is that the resin/varnish smell is quite strong at first, but it dissipates after several days. We lit candles and kept the window and fan on for the first couple of days. Fabulous!

The product was clearly marked HEAVY 2 man product.It arrived by DPD with one man who was unable to lift the same and asked for my help. He said he would take the product back if there was no one that could help carry it with him.....its marked 2 man !!! I have photographic evidence. Awful delivery service......product great though. Very pleased with it.

I am really impressed with the quality of these room dividers. I purchased two for our gazebo to act as privacy screens. They are lovely and the workmanship is very good. A lot of care was taken in packing them and they arrived in perfect condition. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.
