I wanted a float to put on the end of my anchor rope in case I need to ditch my anchor in the river if a huge log starts coming downstream at me, or some emergency like that. If you have a really long rope you might need to put two of these in line. For my shorter rope this will hold the float at the top of the water even in the current. I also put one on my net handle, and fish spear. Pretty simple device, but helps you not lose things.

Purchased yellow 6pk for $9.99 on 10/23/2024. Extremely dense foam, size is slightly smaller than stated 2.7" x 4.2". Floats are slightly irregular in dimensions, I measured and average length of 2.6" and a length of 4.0". ID is 0.70". Center mold seam uneven and slightly proud. Good deal at $1.50 each delivered.

These oval floats are the exact size, shape and design that I was looking for. They came in a package of six and are ‘red’ but orange to me. I need them to put on items used at the lake that need a buoy attached so that they do not sink.Our grandson loves to stand on the dock at the lake and try to catch the small fish hanging round for him to throw bread crumbs by using a kids fish net. All of the adults are always reminding him to be careful because when he drops it (and he has) it does not float. Luckily we have been able to retrieve them but we have had our challenges.So I was able to attach these floats by securing them on the pole or putting the rope through them on the fishing nets. Since they slide on both nets and are situated toward the top, it does not impede his reaching down into the water. It will be a much more relaxed experience for all not having to worry about him dropping it in the lake.I also intend to put them on some of the paddles and other water accessories and toys that we use in and around the water. From my experience I highly recommend this set of multiple floats.

This is not entirely clear from the description, but these are actually solid foam floats, not those old hollow plastic ones that Eventually break. I use these for the anchor lines for my personal watercraft and I also put one on each of my tow lines so they do not sink if I drop them in the water. Despite bouncing around in the front of my boats or being left out in the sun, these have shown zero wear all season. A quality and simple product that does the job. If I run into any issues over the next year, I will update this review, but this is currently a five star product.

Hossmily Rope Floats Marine, Deep Water Float Oval Water Float 2.7" x 4.2", Deep Water Fishing Marker Buoys for Boats Swimming Kayak Crabbing Trail Dock Pool...What I like:These floats feature some very good buoyancy for their respective size. I got these to help me complete a project. I built a floating device for sifting for sifting and screening things I find when I go beach-combing and/or water-based metal detecting. These floats just happened to fit the bill perfectly and the hole at each end is a perfect fit for the PVC pipe I used when constructing the screening contraption. Now, when I dump sand and rocks into my floating device, it's no longer going to try to sink from the weight of all the sediment, etc. Prior to ordering these, I was only using some short sections of those things they call pool noodles and they just didn't feature quite enough buoyancy on their own.These floats are well made and I like the functionality, performance, shape, color and size.What I don't like:There's nothing whatsoever that I dislike about the product.I would certainly order this item again.

It’s a type of spray foam in a mold. Not worth the money. You can buy it cheaper in Canada or US Buying things from China use to be cheaper. Not anymore! Stop prr we pole need to STOP buying from China all together!!!
