I bought a similarly advertised one of these last year but it NEVER suctioned to the countertop and the blade drums were very thin and easily bent. I was apprehensive to ever get another one because I only used the last one 2 times (unsuccessfully) before tossing it in the trash. I finally took a chance on this guy and boy oh boy am I glad I picked this one! The suction is amazing! The whole thing is 100X better than the last one and it WORKS great! From potatoes to cheese, this thing ROCKS and is easy to clean, I put all the parts in the dishwasher except the housing so far with no issues! I will probably end up putting the whole unit in the dishwasher before it's all said and done but I don't want the suction to ever stop working! lol SO GOOD SO GOOD! If you've had bad experiences with other brands GET THIS ONE! Your search has ended! WONDERFUL PRODUCT!!!!

I should have purchased this a long time ago.Shreds cheese perfectly .. that is the main thing I needed it for. Holds to the counter great so makes it easier to use. I will never buy pre-shredded cheese again.Have not tried the other blade but I a. Sure they will be fine. Also cleans up easily.

Love this product. Easy to assemble. Easy to clean. Makes grating an easy process. Quality is what I expected. Would definitely recommend.

Had a similar unit when I was teenager was metal. Works lot nicer than flat cheese grater, on fingers.

Grates well! Suction to counter top is very good so it stays in place while using. Clean up is easy and I feel it is worth the money paid for it!
