My ability to accomplish a wide range of chores with ease was made possible by the movable width, which ranged from 25 inches to 63 inches. Regardless of whether I wanted to prepare a big vegetable bed or concentrate on a particular location, the cultivator was able to adjust to my requirements without any difficulty. The metal tines that could be removed were one of the things that stood out to me and drew my attention. The tines on these cultivators are constructed to endure, in contrast to cultivators that I have used in the past that felt fragile and were prone to bending. They were able to simply slice through the dirt, which resulted in the soil being more loose and also created the ideal condition for planting or reseeding grass. While we are on the subject of reseeding, I have found that this cultivator is the most effective equipment for overseeing my grass. I am able to simply construct the perfect seedbed for new grass to take root in by breaking up the current soil with the help of its adjustable width and robust tines. My grass has become thick and bright in a short amount of time, which is a testament to the remarkable outcomes that have been achieved.

Cheap aluminum shaft pieces that screw together and don't stay secure no matter how tight you screw them together (because they will just slip and loosen up). Pieces dont stay secure while using, constantly coming loose. Bent the aluminum handle pieces within 30 seconds of use. The head on it seems to be the only decent part. Save your money and get one with a wooden or solid metal shaft

This item doesn’t have weight or ability to break up hard soil as found in dead lawn spots, so it’s only good for mixing soil you’ve top dressed or tilled yourself. Is better at this mixing than a rake, however. And it does take a lot of down-pressure on tool to get it to mix decently.Which brings up the handle: it’s miserable—four pieces kept together by friction (barely). Tool end is sturdy though so I’ll replace with broomstick.Since I probably won’t use often, it should work out for lawn seeding, but is not built for frequent use.

It's good enough for what I needed it for. The problem I had was when you screwed it together it didn't get tight and it would fall apart while tilling. So, I welded it. I summed it up to the threads not being big enough for it to grab and make tight. The handle comes in 3 pieces that need to be screwed together. So, 2 of them got tight, 1 did not. If you don't mind drilling a hole to put a bolt or metal screw in or welding it then the hand tiller isn't all that bad it works and it's cheap. If you don't want to mess with it, I'd buy another one. Keep in mind the next step up is twice the price. If you don't have a welder but a 1/4 inch drill bit and a 1/4 bolt with nut, probably be 6 bucks instead of an additional 40 or 50. I'll still give it a 4 just because it works well once you get done messing with it.

First off, I like this concept - having a light-duty tiller that won't strain my back while working large areas of our garden.A handheld tiller for flower boxes, and a pair of gloves, were also nice additions. The kit was also easy to assemble. But this set appears to be very cheaply made. One section of the tiller handle had stamped-in threads that were too shallow, and would not tighten correctly - it felt like the threads were stripped. It also pulled apart too easily after being tightened. Also, one of the plastic trim collars between the handle sections did not fit correctly. This would render the tool useless, and possibly dangerous, as the handle would likely come apart under normal use.I will be returning this item, and looking for a suitable replacement of better quality.

Ya'll I have an area of my yard always in the shade and always wet. I used a hand tiller (also a terrific tool) to initially break up the dirt/mud (photo 1) and this tool easily broke up the mud and dirt chunks the tiller left leaving me with a smooth level surface. I spread the grass seeds and used this again to turn the soil and cover the seeds (photo 2 all done). A job that normally would've taken me 3-4 hrs minimum with a hoe or shovel and a rake, took less than two hours thanks to this tool along with a hand tiller. One important tip: when assembling, you have to insert the the blade bracket into the handle, no biggie, but take a minute to make sure the screw you tighten to hold the blade in place gets seated into the hole in the bracket. If it's not, the blades will continue to fall out. It's easy and just takes a second to line them up and then tighten with pliers or whatever. This simple step will make all the difference when using this tool. I also love the sound it makes coz it sounds like spurs jingling and I'm from Oklahoma so love that sound!

Don’t waste your money or time putting together. Handle length is short, dig depth is awful because the material is cheap/thin aluminum, and wheels are extremely wobbly/not sturdy.

My old cultivator broke, I had trouble finding a reasonably priced replacement, so I went without for several years. I was thrilled to find this on Amazon, now I don't have to do the back breaking weeding anymore, and it's a lot more solid than the previous version I had. Very pleased with this purchase for the quality and the price.

The handle pieces do no stay connected - impossible to do the job. Rotating pieces look okey but i could not test them since there was no functional handle... Too much for the cheap faulty product.

Needed a lightweight tool to loosen the top layer of soil in my garden. This worked OK. It was easy to assemble. I didn't even need to look at the instructions. I actually am not using the hand tool that was included in the package. I used the tines for it to repair an older Yardman tiller that had one set of tines broken. Worked like a charm.

My parents needed to clear out their goji berry garden and they are old so I ordered this for them to make the process more smooth since they're old. My dad used it with ease and it helped them turn over the soil. It was easy to assemble but most importantly it made the job ergonomic for my parents so they can use it when they need it early next season too.
