We had one like this before for years but broke down. So far it is working well. I like how the top screws on and off. We use it for gatherings but mostly for our Autistic granddaughter, she loves it!

Purchased for a dance in a medium sixed space. I would only recommend this for a small space like a bedroom. Not very bright and the colors don't extend trough out the room if the room is too large
