Sounds like R2D2 when I push a fast stepper acceleration and its the most beautiful sound I ever heard.

I connect it to a driver and control it with a Arduino uno use c plus coding the motor paired with a button. I want it to rotate in only 1 direction and stop but each press of the button it reverses direction randomly not following protocol.

The base is a bit bulky. Hard to mount it on other movable bases. But it does provide good stability

This little motor unit is compact and sturdy. Simple to use. It's a nice touch that the 'home' sensor is built in instead of a value add.For those that are interested the stepper pin out on the DB9 connector is as follows:Pin 1(+) - 4(-) = Diode Vf = 2.57V (suspect this is LED emitter)Pin 4(+) - 5(-) = Diode VF = 795mV (suspect this is a photodiode)Pin 6 - 7 = motor winding 1A/1BPin 8 - 9 = motor winding 2A/2B

This works well seems torquey, not sure what the max feed rate is. Opened up the motor and soldered my own leads. The only thing connected is the motor, nothing else.
