The one I had as a kid was metal, this one is plastic. No problem, just wanted it for nostalgic purposes, but it works. Two “D†batteries, and it’s not very bright, but, they’re not meant to be. Just light your way, not show up the valley. But very durable feeling, I like the extra space molded in for the extra lenses, nice feature.Overall, I’m very pleased with it and for under $15, great value.

Good for the price point. Paid about 12 bucks for the flashlight. Mainly bought it because I don’t have an old school light/ non-LED flashlight. Old school lights like these are supposed to withstand an EMP because they have no circuitboard like LED lights do. The light itself is plastic and not very bright. But it will get the job done. I like the red, blue, green, and yellow lenses that it came with and they are easy to change out. I would purchase this again!

This is a plastic flashlight. I saw the picture and expected a military metal one. It does the job, but I can't say I wasn't disappointed.

This flashlight works perfectly. Fits great in my jacket pocket for when I'm performing tasks or just going for evening walks.

Good flashlight seems pretty well made will as good as anything from China. Do like the fact it came with the extra lens and 2 ways to mount it on my hunting vest and on my roof vent inside my tent.light is pretty bright so far so good

This is nothing like the authentic version my grandpa had. The build feels like it will fall apart if I dropped it on a grass lawn. The colored elements barely have any effect. The red lens, which I bought this for, is completely ineffective. Total Chinese trash. Very disappointed.

These old style flashlights are simply the best, most durable flashlight available only here on amazon. They work every time and I even made a continuity tester out of one of these. Simply great flashlights. Solidly made and durable. Modern flashlights are junk and crap that shine loud, cost lots and stop working fast too. They fill recycle sites everywhere. Crazy world thinks they invented better but NOT!

La calidad del plástico es mala, hay que tratarla con cuidado, es frágil. Es para uso casero. No la recomiendo para acampar.

Cheap quality, not very bright and didn't come with an extra bulb like they claim. If it did, I cannot find it...
