I have a Brazilian grill and wanted a “Rodizio†but the cost is around $700.00 so, all I needed was a rotisserie. This one came with mounts. I wanted to have control over temperature and welded a small 3 inch 1/8 inch thick iron mount to the grill edge , now I can raise and lower the grill and the temperature is at my control. I found a laser instant on temperature gun and like to use 270-300 degrees for a slow roast. Worked great so far.

Always wanted to make my own rotisserie chicken. Have to say ,after adjusting it to my pit, I did it, I made some rotisserie chicken. Worked just like it's supposed to. Turned it on, Turned slowly and bang it Turned out great.

Works great although I had to modify my Weber Genesis Grill top for the best fit. Had to make a slot using a grinder for the skewer rod on the rotisserie motor side.

This worked perfectly at first . The third time I used it was for chicken wings in a basket which was the same use as the first time. It turned half way and the reversed. I could not get a full revolution even afer restarting multiple times .

It performs well and the quality is nice and hefty but there are extra steps that you need to take into account for. It's not for every grill make sure you have a grill this is compatible with. I do recommend.

I think it would work well with a chicken or smaller meats.(3 lbs or less) But I put about 6lbs of pork shoulder on there and the motor wouldn't turn it over all the way.

It is not a very strong motor, 1 small chicken ok >> 2 chickens NO, I found one of my 20 year old motors off one of my old grilles and it turns 2 & 3 chickens just fine. Big difference in manufacturing
