I received the order very quickly and the mount was well packaged. I pulled the mounting plate out and was pleasantly impressed with how robust it is. If I had to guess I’d say it was cut from a 1/4 AR500 plate and powder coated. I also have to say the installation was incredibly quick and simple. I did run into a small issue with the threads in one of the flag nuts provided with the winch. I contacted customer service for Rough Country and was quickly sent a replacement flag nut and bolt at no extra charge! Hands down best customer service I’ve had in a while!

I needed to find a winch plate to fit the front on my vintage Willys CJ3B. There were some cheaper ones out there that would fit but they were a bit thin (3/16") compared to this Rugged Ridge one (1/4"). I did the measurement on my jeep and the front frame rails are 29" outside to outside which is the same as this plate designed for the Roxor. It fits as near perfectly with the only adjustment needed was a couple of washers under where it bolts to the top of the frame. The Roxor's frame is flat on top whereas the older Jeep CJ's are slightly concave. This plate is solid and hefty at 22lbs and is predrilled on the ends for the frame rails as well as the common mounting configurations for the most winches. The Mahindra Roxer is based of the old Willys CJ5 so it's no surprise that it fits properly...this also indicates that it should fit at least all jeeps from 1941 to 1971 and maybe even more years. Five Stars from me.
