ProRox is simple to cut with a serrated knife for clean edges and a better fit during installation. It does not absorb water or hold moisture and is embedded with water repellent characteristics that drain water away.

Overall the least likely to cause other problems that retrofitting insulation in an old house can cause. I also use it to increase fire burn through times from outside in to the house and from in the house to other rooms. Excellent choice in Frame homes' built without installed fire-blocking. Definitely not your house mouse's first choice for habitat. It does not readily support Mildew or other Bacterial growth when moist.

Could not find rock wool in a roll so purchased the boards. Also purchased the saw to cut them with. They were not heavy and cut easy, just made a lot of dust.
