How perfect! Bonus it’s purple. I can’t wait to use it. It’s heavy but not overly heavy. Royal makes some of the best typewriters out there. It even has the the bell. I’m in love.**Update** tried typing with it and nope. Called royal customer service and they said change the ribbon, did and still nothing. Called them back and said typewriter is defective and send it back.

All my daughter wanted for Christmas was a typewriter. She asked Santa repeatedly for one. And this is awful. Just see the pictures. Stuck keys. Ribbon not rising for the keys to strike consistently. When it did, only 1/2 shows. And some part kept falling off. Needless to say, she was very sad.

Bought for my 9year old who wanted to learn to use a typewriter. Keys are a bit hard to press and some with too much space between them. The extra ink included was nice

We used the typewriter twice and it worked ok. The third time we tried to use it the letters started to come off. Now it is just sitting in the dining room until we can figure out what to do with it. We are very upset with our purchase.
