I bought this grill for two reasons. First, I needed to keep costs down while getting the best quality product. And lastly, I needed a unit with a large cooking surface area. And thankfully, this grill delivered both! I was able to cook two 15 pound briskets at the same time, and they turned out beautifully! Wood logs seemed to work best for temp control. I did have to seal up areas where the smoke leaks around the smoke stack and lid. And I wish the vent for the firebox was located higher. Otherwise you’ll have to make sure the coals/wood doesn’t block the air flow. But overall, in my opinion, this is a winner! Definitely glad I made the purchase!

This one's okay it's cheaply made with light metal but it'll hold them off until I can find a heavy duty one that might need a little welding so on old LP tank like around 5 ft long and I can make into a smoker but it'll it'll work for a while not raving about it

This grill was a little difficult to put together but it end it was worth every drop of sweat and every tear!

Grill arrived in a large box and was "all assembly required". We finally put it all together and noticed that several of the welds on the barrel sections were very poorly done with several of the small spot welds already broken. Metal is extremely thin and cheap. With this design a flat large tray the length of the barrel holds all of the charcoal and ash. This would allow for even cooking along the length of the grill. Unfortunately the design puts all of the weight of this tray and charcoal on two small little dinky clips...with three tiny spot welds holding them in place. Our grill arrived with two of these welds already broken. Broken just from being shipped. There is no way that these bad welds would actually hold all this weight for any length of time, especially after being subjected to hours of heat while in use. I called the manufacturer and informed that it would take MONTHS to receive a replacement part. MONTHS. I was advised to go through Amazon and exchange it...instead I am requesting a full refund. Bad design, bad construction, shoddy welds. Buyer beware. You do NOT want to buy this grill.

This was a great smoker for a year. However the smoke box is made of very cheap metal. It completely rusted off in 1 year. This was despite treating it with oil, and keeping it covered for the most part.The large cooking box did not have that issue. This is a perfect size smoker with plenty of room. Just wish the wood box was made better. It’s very weak and unsafe.

Easy to assemble. Follow the instructions and it is solid and sturdy (saw a negative review where someone decided to put the wheels on opposite end - mistake). Admittedly thinner metal with leaks, but $15 on smoker seal gasket makes it as tight as high-priced smokers. Great value, does a great job smoking, and incredible amount of grill space. Don't trust the thermometer - use your own probe placed grill high. Highly recommend!
