These rocks were exactly what I was looking for. They were the right size. I was worried they were going to be smaller even though the dimensions were listed. They look as listed a nice jet black and varying shapes i.e. flat, round and combo. I received 6

These rocks are great -- they're smooth, well formed, consistent in color, substantial without being too heavy to work with -- and look great in my planter. I wanted something unusual for the top of my planter that would help to hold in moisture, cover the dirt, and these rocks did beautifully. They dark grey color matches the color of our polished, sealed concrete floor. Also, when I need to repot the plant or put in more dirt, removing these rocks will be easy, not only to remove, but for cleaning. Although I'm not painting these rocks, it is clear to me they would be great for that purpose. I am ordering two more sets of these rocks for other planters. Thanks.

These are grey, dull, and have cracks in them. I’m so disappointed. They were described as black and looked shiny in the description and pictures of them. I feel ripped off.

I think the rocks are nice but the paint isn't great on them, I think it's the clear coat on the rock where the paint doesn't go on as smooth.

I bought these stones to lay on my black aquarium sand thinking they could be arranged in a pleasing pattern according to size. However they're all very similar in size but I don't mind because I can just sink some of them deeper - and hope my sand sifting fish don't reorganize them too badly. The stones are very black, even darker when wet. Perfect for the kind of drama and fish friendly set up I'm going for. Highly recommended.

Four of the rocks came with very noticeable inclusions...there is no way that I would consider painting on them and giving them as gifts
