I confess: I sent flowers in the mail. I did it twice and I taped the tops where these hugged the stems. Both times it worked like a charm: I did expedite shipping and I bubble wrapped those roses like crazy. Both recipients were thrilled: 1 of them was my mom on Mother's Day. These handy little water vials kept the roses nice and fresh and presentable. I used green stretchy electrical tape to secure the tops to the stems and prevent leaks, then gently bubble wrapped and stuck the whole bouquet into a plastic bag. My mom said the roses held up as if I had presented them to her fresh-cut, they lasted a few weeks.
Totally satisfied

I used these to give out small bouquets of flowers on Mother's Day. I wanted the women to not worry about getting the flowers in water right away, but didn't want to deal with the bulkiness of handing them out in vases, so these worked perfect. Some flowers were a little harder to get thru the cap (like sunflowers, stem was just a lot bigger) but overall it worked great. I could even get 2-3 flowers with really skinny stems into one tube. They are not leak proof - if laid down on the side, the water will leak. Just an fyi. Great buy and should the need ever arise again, I would for sure buy these again.

Delivered roses to hospital staff, every nurse was given one. These handy little vases kept the roses well watered. I was able to put rose, baby's breath and small fern into each vessel without leakage. Nifty product!

Okay, so originally when i opened the package and saw the size of the hole in the cap of the tube compared to the size and thickness of the rose stem i panicked. Howeverrrrr, the cap is made of like silicone or rubber material so you can easily fit a rose stem in the tiny hole and it will stretch and still not leak. It’s teacher appreciation week so i bought a dozen roses kept some for decor and then sent some with my son to give to his favorite teachers. I bought individual rose sleeve bouquet bags and was wondering how i was going to keep the roses fresh. This pretty much solves that problem, one rose per one tube and the roses still look cute and presentable. Teachers loved them and messaged me thank you. So I’d say these were a success.
