Great product overall. There aren’t any directions on how to install. However, just by looking at the product it’s pretty easy. You’ll need a few basic tools but not a bunch of crazy stuff. I ordered the orange to match the Mojave orange. I posted 2 pics. It looks like a good match. They’re nice and heavy duty as well. I like them a lot. I hope they last a long time because they look pretty cool I think.Would I order again? As of day 1 with them — yes.

This product seems to be made from great steel. BUT the paint scratches very easily so I'm assuming in 6 months paint will fade or chip off. Product didn't cone with any instructions but it's not hard to figure out with a little common sense. I recommend this product for the functionality but for paint quality it isn't great.

These hood latches are built like tanks. They are well-machined and heavy in the hand. These are much better than the stock latches and they dress up my white JK Jeep nicely. The install is very straight forward and takes about an hour. There are videos on YouTube which you can watch for this very product. It takes a 10mm and a 13mm socket and I had to use a swivel adapter installing the lower part of each latch. As you can see in the photo, they include the three hex wrenches that you will need. You definitely do NOT have to take any of the top guards off to complete the installation. Be sure to select the correct rubber spacer for the lower half of the latches based on your Jeep - the JK and JL are different and they include both in the kit. Also, the upper latch piece has a small amount of adjustment that you will probably want to play with in order to get a tight fit. But, once adjusted, it does make a tight clamp down when you close it. This is a very nice product, and...I would definitely order these latches again.

They work good but the powder coating is fading after only being installed for a couple months.

I was able to install one side and then noticed that some parts were missing. The side I installed went on easily. I had to return the product. I’m waiting for a replacement now. Learned one lesson….. check for all parts before starting the install.Seems like a good product.

They deft didn’t hold up as my left side latch bolts came undone and the metal piece that latches onto the actual hood flew off while I was driving. I’m sure they were tightened enough as I had already retightened them due to rattling about a week prior to this happening. (I’m lucky both didn’t fail because I was on the highway and my hood could of completely came up)
