✅ Excellent for securing lids to items.These are sold as replacements for ice-box coolers ðŸ§ŠðŸ› ï¸ and would likely work wonderfully for that purpose.The reason I got them is because we keep our dogs' food ðŸ•ðŸ¥« in a metal trash can ðŸ—‘ï¸ for rodent resistance ðŸâŒ. We went YEARS with absolutely no problems associated with this practice. But now... 😑Look: it's Luke's fault. 🤦â€â™‚ï¸ðŸ’€He's just too smart. 🧠🕠A GSD ðŸ•â€ðŸ¦º with an insatiable appetite for destruction 💥 and for dog food ðŸ–.He is the first dog we've ever had to figure out how to take the lid off the dog-food garbage can ðŸ—‘ï¸ and help himself to truly enormous, porcine-like quantities 🷠of dog food.His stomach was totally distended 😳 from how fully he gorged himself on the dog food.Poor pup. 😩 And poor us, because we had to pick up prodigious quantities of doggie doo-doo 💩💩💩 as he worked it out of his system.We just can't keep having that happen. ⌠Not only is it bad for Luke, but it’s bad for our budget, too. 💸💔We do NOT feed our pups cheap food ðŸ², so when he destroyed almost a full bag, he really did some damage. ðŸ˜ðŸ”§ðŸš« Enter: These Security Handles!NOW we have these security handles on the dog food can. 🔒We opted to put four on so he doesn't figure out how to release one and—game over. 🎮💥Even if he figures out how to destroy one or two (which is likely 😤), the lid still won’t come off.HOPEFULLY 🤞 he’ll give up after realizing that dog food heist missions are officially over. 🚫ðŸ•ðŸ–Argh. 😤 I love that guy, but SHEESH. 😵â€ðŸ’« It will be nice when he gets past this destructive puppy phase.🙠Please God. ðŸ™

Based on the measurements, I got this to replace the deck cover hold downs on my Lesco walk behind mower. The fit was spot on; it looked identical to the original one that was broken. It was a quick install, with the metal brackets fitting the original holes in the deck. These are nice tough rubber; I expect they will last a long time.

**Positives:**- The rubber quality is excellent, very durable and soft to the touch.- The T-handle design makes it easy to grip and use, even with gloves on.- Perfect fit for my Ford F-150—installation was a breeze.- Versatile! I’ve used it for various purposes beyond the hood latch, and it’s worked great for all.- Feels sturdy and well-made, offering excellent value for the price.**Negatives:**- Honestly, no complaints so far.
