First; the tan colored backing paper; it's not easy to separate from the thin rubber sheet, it's seriously stuck together. The backing tears off in pieces, then you have to start over to try to remove the backing from a whole area. The rubber without the backing is very thin, very, very sticky, and sort of fragile, not easy to place evenly over whatever you're trying to stick it to. Maybe this stuff would work if you have a simple sort of object you're trying to stick it to, but if its any sort of a difficult area; I don' think this stuff would work, If you touch the sticky surface with a finger; part of the black sticky stuff is now a 2nd skin on your finger, a black circle. Then you have to try to get that off. I wound up throwing the whole thing away. Maybe you're more dexterous than me and it'll work great for you.

The item arrived exactly as advertised. The protective paper was easy and clean to remove from the adhesive, which sticks very well. The neoprene appears to be of high quality. Altogether, this indicates that it is a good value for the price.

I’m making a carrying tray for Hubby’s gaming display board, and I’m using this neoprene on the bottom of the tray to protect whatever surface it’s placed on, and to keep the tray from sliding around if placed on a smooth surface. The neoprene is good quality, it cuts easily with a sharp utility knife (probably with scissors too), and the adhesive is strong - it stays where I put it. I didn’t need all of it for my tray project, but I’ll be using the remainder during my other DIY adventures.

easy to cut and apply to my surface. Needed to fill in white gaps on some black cabinets doors.

I used this on an old black bookcase that I now use to place small handweights/dumbells on. The shelves were kind of beat up so this cleaned it up as well as providing a cushioned non slip surface on which to place the weights. It is quite thin and does tear easily. So handle carefully. We will see how long it lasts. It does cut very easily. Th brown paper is a bit of a pain to peel off the back as it is very thin and tears easily but once you get it started it is fine.
