This is a fun little beak to add to a chicken costume! It shaped up nicely once I got it out of the package. There was a faint latex-type smell to it, but it went away after airing it out for a couple of hours.My only complaint is that the elastic is too tight and a bit uncomfortable. I think perhaps this is meant to be worn by children. I am an average-sized adult woman and I felt like I couldn't wear the beak for more than 15 minutes or so without being uncomfortable because of the tightness. I changed out the elastic for a ribbon that I can tie behind my head and that is a lot more comfortable. It's a pretty easy fix, so I only took off one star for the tightness.

I used it for a rooster costume. We did not use the elastic I clipped it off and glued it to the costume. The quality is good. It looked great!!!

This looks good but is really painful. It hit my nose in the worst spot and I had to make a slit on the top to make it bearable. It was also hard to breathe because of the placement. I wouldn't recommend this if you plan on wearing it for more than 2 minutes at a time.

I just needed a last minute chicken beak to finish off a costume, but even though I opened it a few days early, let it air out, washed it in hot water, and on and on, it still reeked so badly of whatever chemicals they made it with (it looked great) that I wouldn't have been able to put it on my face and breathe in through it even if I had wanted to. Into the trash, lesson learned.

Was cute. Runs very narrow. Order 2. I wore mine, but too snug for a man. Holds in place with knot ties inside, does dig into nose, I used bandaid tape to cushion.
