This hat is fun! It's quite cheaply made, but I didn't expect too much for a novelty hat for a dog. It fits my 15lb pomeranian/spaniel mutt's big, hard, flat head perfectly and it also has "ear straps" for extra security holding it on. His ears aren't upright nor floppy- they're inbetween like an gremlin before it gets wet, lol! So hats are hit/miss with him. He's paraplegic but still gets around at a decent clip and the hat may slide to the sides but it stays on surprisingly well.Just don't accidentally sit on it, it won't bounce back well :/ But it'll do its job for dressing Bud up as Indiana Jones for special events/visiting hospice patients :)It's very adjustable and will probably fit smaller and much larger dogs too, but may look a bit silly on large dogs. Wish they offered 2 sizes- small and large.Would repurchase if I ever lost it- always get compliments and smiles from the elderly folks and children which is priceless :)

I used this hat to put on my 5 month old Scottish Terrier puppy when we went out west on an rv trip through places like The Grand Canyon, Zion/Bryce, Yellowstone, etc. It looked cute. I did not give a 5 only because it is just a bit smaller than I expected and didn't show up in my photos as well as the picture here on Amazon (spaniel). But the price makes it well worth trying. I think when he is fully grown it may sit on his head better.

I purchased 3 of these hats. 2 were Tan and one was Black. They were made by the same company but the Tan ones were better built. I bought them for my 7 lb. Pomeranians. They are about 6" Long x 5 1/4" Wide. They have ear holes so you can put your pets ears through them to help hold them on. These are real cute!!
