I was looking for a plastic judge gavel for a child's game. This was the best I could find, and I was pleased with the purchase. It's nice and sturdy, even though it's plastic. I was hoping it would be a little smaller. It's about the size of a standard real Judge's gavel.

Great little gavel. It's plastic, but for the price, you get the real look without the weight. I trimmed off a bit of excess plastic from the edges with an exacto and I am happy with it.

Got this as a gag gift for a coworker. His last name is Blood, so I tease him and tell him he should quit his job and go become a judge, because being told you have to go talk to Judge Blood sounds quite disconcerting.Anyway, I'm not uber impressed with this gavel. For the money I paid, it feels rather cheap and flimsy. Granted, it is a prop, but the plastic feels so flimsy, my coworker (who is quite strong) is hesitant to actually try tapping it on his workbench. Although I hear that he occasionally will pull it out and tap it on his workbench when he condemns or accepts a part he is inspecting, so it's obviously holding up.At any rate, I think it's a touch overpriced, but it does look nice, and will serve it's purpose well, so long as you don't actually bang it on any hard surface with too much force.

Product arrived as expected. Product is lightweight and a thicker plastic. Do not know if it would hold up to repeated banging, but worked well for child’s presentation. Happy with quality.
