This lamp arrived bent from shipping and with multiple small dents in the reflector from the multiple other metal parts in the box that were inadequately padded. Tape left adhesive on one of the parts that required adhesive remover. The customer is required to install the cord and porcelain socket into the dome reflector (screw driver required) and the instructions are marginal at best. The cord is short, 6 feet or so, which effected my installation. The lamp is not grounded, so the health conscious will want to purchase an additional grounding wire. On the plus side, the clamp is indeed heavy duty, and the lamp is rated for high wattage. I would be willing to pay a bit more for an on/off switch. Rubylux, if you read these reviews, you have some work to do with this product. longer grounded cord, on/off switch, prior assembly or better instructions and better packaging.

The electrical wires do not come attached to the electrical socket! There are 2 loose electrical wires (one black wire, one white wire) but the instructions do not say how or where to attach the wire on the socket's screws (one silver screw, one brass screw). Why take the risk?? I am returning.Should be advertised as a "electrical lamp kit" (unassembled) and not a "lamp".

This lamp comes unassembled. You have to take the ceramic end apart and rewire it without any good instructions. Blew my $125 infra red sauna bulb as soon as I plugged it in. I returned this item.

No switch is a deal breaker for me. Shoulda read the reviews. I also can’t believe the assembly required. Returning.

I am going to try and get a hold of the seller as the directions are terrible. Pictures that don't match the actual parts. Reflector has small dents which I can live with IF I keep it. Will update if I get help from the seller.
