This vest is very bright, both in the daylight and low-light conditions. It’s pretty easy to put on my dog, and covers her well. Perfect for safe walks in the woods during hunting season. It’s fairly lightweight, but I don’t think I’d use it during warmer weather. Well-made, and seems sturdy.

Love this product and I honestly don’t have any issues with this jacket. This is the second item I have purchased from Ruffwear for my dog and I think I may have found the holy grail of outdoor wear for my Kelpie! Joking aside, the quality is amazing and you pay for what you get.I purchased this for my pup because she needed something more substantial to wear in the woods during hunting season. For reference, I have a female Kelpie that weighs 45 lbs. She has a slightly broad chest and is a muscular/athletic build.I will add I got this for the bright Hi-Vis neon orange & yellow material so she can be seen from far away. (She has a blue/tan coloring and blends in with her surroundings in the woods.) I don’t know if this would be good as a hunting-dog jacket but for hikes/trails in the woods of Maine or low-light walks, it fits the bill. The jacket has reflective strips of material on both sides and like most Ruffwear dog items has a loop for a light on the back collar of the jacket. The collar extends upward to provide added protection and the underbelly area has buckles on each side that clip into the jacket sides that are adjustable. I feel like the design of this was well-thought out because it’s adjustable so you can layer underneath the jacket. Right now I’m using a Ruffwear Climate Changer Fleece underneath to make it a bit cozier for my dog but the jacket overall is pretty lightweight so I will be able to use it in warmer weather too. The sizing is on point! I ordered a size Small.

A bit pricey but well made. Covers entire body with high visibility and reflective material. Keeps my buddy puppy safe from hunters.

I bought this jacket for my GSP Bird dog while hunting. It protects his chest from brush and makes him very visible to all of the hunters. We also use it as a rain coat for him. Easy to get on and off and the size guide is perfect. He's a 65lb GSP and a medium in ruffwear coats.

I really like this jacket but it is WAY to large. I could go down at least one (or two sizes pissibly) I went off the sizing of the same brand I purchased about 18 months ago.

If you walk your dog off your property this is some you should get, reflective and highly visable.

Material is durable. Wont rip in the woods. Is waterproof too, makes a good raincoat. Good coverage. Visibility is very high. Fits comfortably on dog, no pinching or bunching up. Stays put and does not roll sideways off the dog like some other vests will do. Each side has adjustable quick release straps with elastic to allow for movement. Very easy to put on off the dog. Long enough to reach down to tail. Has chest coverage which also displays high visibility when dog is running toward you. A bit more expensive than other vests but worth every penny. This vest will last and the dog does not mind wearing it. Does not hinder her at all. She wears it running through the woods during hunting season and on rainy day runs.

Hardwearing. The medium fits my 22kg dog perfectly. People have stopped me at night to comment on reflectiveness. My dog is hardcore and goes through branches/bushes. First one I bought is fraying a bit but have bought two more. Great product.

Herr Hund brauchte nach 10 Jahren in Deutschland und mit zunehmendem Alter ein neues Outfit für nicht so tolles Wetter. Ich habe lange gesucht, viele Mäntel verglichen, einen zurückgeschickt - und dann wurde es der hier. Ich mag ohnehin die Sachen von Ruffwear, weil das gute und durchdachte Qualität ist und die wirklich lange halten.Eigentlich hätte ich gerne die Version mit eingearbeitetem Geschirr gehabt, weil Regendecken und Geschirre eher unkompatibel sind. Aber das war nicht in der passenden Größe da und 50 Euro mehr. Umso größer die Freude, dass diese Regendecke tatsächlich eine Öffnung hat, um die Leine in ein Geschirr zu haken! Absolut perfekt und auch ziemlich regendicht gearbeitet. Herr Hund fand es völlig okay, die Decke zu tragen und hat sichtlich gemerkt, dass der Winterregen nicht mehr bis auf die Haut geht und der Wind auch gut abgehalten wird.Das Geschirr von Herrn Hund hat seinen Leinenring direkt hinter dem Bauchgurt, bei einem klassischen Norweger-Geschirr könnte es etwas problematischer werden, weil die Schlaufe ggf. dann doch etwas länger ist. Da muss man dann eben ausprobieren, ob das passt (unser Norweger ist aber eh eine Maßanfertigung mit extra langer Schlaufe, das habe ich mit der Decke gar nicht erst ausprobiert).Was noch wirklich gut ist, sind die sehr, sehr breiten Reflektorflächen. Die üblichen Decken haben nur schmale Paspelstreifen, die ein kleines bisschen leuchten. Im Dunkeln sieht man als Autofahrer diese Fizzeldinger einfach kaum. Das ist mit den breiten Streifen und der auffälligen Deckenfarbe hier total anders. Klar, es ist gewöhnungsbedürftig aber man sieht einen Hund im Freilauf schon von weitem, was auch unterwegs in Feld, Wald und Wiese wirklich praktisch ist, gerade wenn man einen Hund in "Tarnfarben" hat, der vielleicht abhaut.

Le gilet est facile à mettre au chien et ne bouge pas une fois que ma chienne l’a sur son dos!Il est top la nuit, les bandes réfléchissantes fonctionnent très bien. Nous l’avons utilisé à la montagne lors de la balade du soir , je le recommande !
