Sturdy plastic. Folds/bends easily to fit inside your boot. I got these for my tall/knee boots and they are just the right size. The boots stand up straight and don't fold over any more. Just what I wanted.

I wasn't sure what these were when they arrived -- there was no packing slip or photo on the bag. There were also no perforations, so they are not easily adjustable for various boot heights, as are others I've previously ordered. Once I received the review request and discovered what they were, they are well suited to their purpose, at least for knee-length boots.

I waited a week to post to make sure. These are simply good quality, slightly heavy but springy plastic material, and exactly what I wanted! They work well to keep the intended shape of my boots, and I’m glad they’re flexible enough to fit different kinds of boots, from tight zip ups, loose pull ups, and laced winter types! ; two of my boots have a strip of elastic along the calf I was worried these might stretch out, but they’ve retained their shape fantastic. Value for money, these are great. There’s a very slight texture to the plastic to help them stay in place once they’re inserted. I’ll definitely be getting more!

I have now purchased 2 sets of these. They work great and are pretty inexpensive. They are easy to roll and put into your boots. I didn't notice that my boots were creasing, and the faux leather was cracking where they were bent over at the ankle in my closet. I ruined 2 pairs of boots this way. Now I put these in all my tall boots. They are doing their job, and I am quite happy with them.

These boot shapers work very well. The plastic is sturdy but easy to flex to insert into the boot. They hold the boots upright with no foldover. Note that the boots have to have some structure to them for best results. These didn't work with a very "floppy" pair that are really just one layer of leather. For those, I got some of the hanger that clip on to the top of the boots. The 16-inch shapers are perfect for knee-high boots, and I just ordered some slightly shorter ones for UGGs. Overall these did a great job of organizing the boot mess on the floor of my closet.
