I wear this RunMax pro 40 ib vest mainly when I hike up mountains and go bike riding. First thing I want to mention is putting this on really adjusts your posture to a very natural position. I have had minimal pain wearing this, even when hiking long distances. No pain in shoulders or lower back as of yet.It might help if you use your phone or a mirror to properly strap this vest on and adjust as necessary. If you do so, you might not need to buy the non-including shoulder straps they sell for this. I think it's so well designed that it really isn't necessary, but experiences do vary, and I suggest just adjusting it slightly as needed, but just getting the straps across as straight as possible should do it.I will say, despite it's apparent simplistic aesthetic, I think the design of this vest itself is excellent for usage. The quality overall is very good, but I have noticed that maybe after the 4th hike the velcro straps did start to wear out, but I suppose that's to be expected with 40ibs ofT A C T I C A L S U P E R I O R I T Y bouncing all about. Well, it's not quite tactical as it could use more pockets. However, you do have a front pocket that'll hold your precious livelihood (yes, your cell phone) there's a metal ring I use for my keys, and even a whole water bottle holster to arm yourself to the teeth with liquid rehydration....Yeah... Well, there's not much to say about this vest really. It's relatively comfortable, it doesn't feel too constraining or put you at risk of overheating due to it's very airy design... Somehow, despite the RunMax name, I'm not sure this is the most aerodynamic of designs 🤔 but I digress.This vest does have the option to remove sandbags so I suppose you COULD have "added storage" for the removal of weight, but I'm just not sure what you'd be putting in those kinds of pouches aside from the occasional candy/granola bar 😳In all seriousness this vest is great, even despite it's very basic exterior. Compared to other vests, it's comfortable for many different sizes, you have lowered risk of overheating, lowered risk of pain and it's adjustable to your needs as you become a chiseled masterpiece overtime. If it ever did just have more pockets, this would be quite sublime.If you need, you can consider buying a drawstring backpack, and items with very appealing names such as "wAtEr bLaDdEr" and "fAnNy pAcK" to keep you hydrated AND storage friendly. And maybe some sort of solar external battery (that's rightI just called you out again!) And I'm not saying anything about anything, but in a pinch, if in case of a pesky zombie apocalypse this thing IS still 40 ibs. You do the math... What are you waiting for? For 50 bucks go get those glutes in shape err get your butt in gear

This weighted vest is really great quality especially for the price point! It is adjustable in weight and fit around your chest/waist. I’ve been adding it to my incline treadmill walks and can feel the difference in how my muscles are more engaged especially the abdominal muscles. Definitely recommend this brand and the weighted vest for anyone looking to add some intensity to your walks.

Definitely serves its purpose , only gripe is not as compact as I’d hope. For me long sleeve t shirts are a must to abate chafing of arms .

So glad I bought this weight vest. It was originally 40 pounds, but since I’m 5’2 it was a bit too heavy for me. I was able to take out 4 weights which made it the perfect weight for me:) it’s easy to put on with the velcro lace as well. I would recommend if you need a weight vest for the stair master!!

For the money you can't go wrong. Really nice quality. Everything is heavy duty stitching and fabric. Weight bags slide in and out real easy. I don't wear a shirt under and no irritation so far. Use for indoor activities at home. Couldn't get heart over 100 anymore this did the trick. Now I had muriatic acid spill in my Work van a few years ago. Don't have a sense of smell so can't comment on that one. If you tighten straps correctly does not seem to move at all. Has pockets in the chest. And a water bottle holder. Like store 16.9 bottle. Was worried about the head hole but not an issue. Don't even need to take ear buds out. Pretty easy and I got a big dome. Now only con for me is your not going to get any air circulation at all. So plan on wiping it down after each use. Otherwise awesome.

For the money - compared to the other ones on the market- you’re getting a really good price. It’s nice that depending on the type of workout you plan on doing - the weights are adjustable!!!!!! The weight distribution makes the vest very comfortable and I like how is has a spot for your drink. I would recommend this product to anyone

I've been using this vest for almost 2 weeks now and I can definitely tell it's working. The quality is great, it fits me well and I've not had any issues. I know some of the negative comments said it weighed only 20lbs, however my vest and weights weigh 42lbs. Another comment said it was long and designed for a man, but I'm a 5'2" female and it is not long on me. The other negative comment said this was very hard on the shoulder due to the lack of padding, this is 100% true. I have had to place a towel under each shoulder bc it pulls and your back and shoulders will be hurting the next day. All in all, I really like this vest and would recommend the designer add padding to the shoulders to make this vest perfect. 5 stars!

I am a well established walker, 15 years of at least 5 miles a day 365. I purchase this vest to improve strength and endurance for preparing when I am hiking in the mountains. I have used a backpack loaded with weights before and they work but a bit uncommittable. This vest does well although I have added my own shoulder pads made from socks and foam. Starting at 20 lbs. for the first week and only using the vest on a short 1 mile extra walk each day , this will be increase in 4 to 8 lbs. per week until I reach the supplied 10ea 4 lbs. weights. I have added Molle Straps (for lights and phone) and reflective tape as I am a night walker.

My husband was very happy with this. Is appears to be really good quality and is adaptable to be used with as little or as many weights as you want. You couldn't really lie flat in it though.

This is easily worth double this price. It’s a steal. The quality is great and i have been using it for short (5km) and long runs (15-21km). And it’s going strong. It even has this little storage pocket in the front under the big strap and it is exactly a perfect fit for my iphone 14 pro max. And given that you probably won’t run with all the weights on it, the empty weight storages can be used to store small items like a protein bar or a small water bottle. You won’t find anything better for this price on the market. I also don’t find it uncomfortable to run without the extra shoulder pads which you have to purchase separately so don’t buy them if you don’t need to.
