Love this holder! Wanted something simple and not that expensive since it’s going outside. You are able to use this on a wall as well. Vertical or horizontal! We decided to put ours on the beams of our porch roof. Very sturdy and came with screws!!

Solid for mounting rods to the garage door. I used wood screws on my door, but if your door is metal you might still be able to get them up there with some blocking. These would easily go up on the ceiling or wall also. Screws are junk, throw them away before they snap off on you.

They are plastic and break easy, I don't recommend for frequent fishers. However if you are displaying antique rods or poles not used often they are great. Lightweight and easy to install

Installed on my garage door. Very easy and even with the garage door opening daily the poles are secure. I love this thing.

Great design, love the fact that the rubber keepers are replaceable. They advertise that it can be mounted vertical but I wouldn’t trust them mounted that way as they are pretty thin and I don’t feel they would hold up. I also wouldn’t trust them with $1,000+ of rods granted if I was using them for my good rods I would spend more for better quality. I mounted mine to my garage doors to get a few of my older rods out of the way that I’m not yet ready to part with. The mounting hardware is trash so plan on just buying screws (and anchors if you’re putting in drywall). Again I like the design but the plastic used is not the best. Rush creek is an American company but sadly they outsource their production to China.
