Fancy that! Made in the USA. Worth the price as wood is beautiful and interior just as well made. I like this style in particular - simple and on the rustic side. OH, and size is large enough for 14 settings!

Silver chests tend to be incredibly expensive. I did not buy one for years because of this. I found this box to be in my price range, beautifully constructed and served my purposes as intended. There was a tiny ding in the corner but honestly I didn't even report it because the box lives in a cabinet. I would absolutely recommend this as it is very nice and much cheaper than any others. I also like that it is not so dark and old fashioned. Classy but not out dated. Would buy again without reservation.

We had a set of Stainless Steel flatware, that we had for years. We only used it for larger family gatherings. It was still in the original cardboard box. I got tired of getting it out and wrapping it back up each time we used it. I looked at a lot of trays and boxes. Most seemed to be either plastic, or canvas, or some type of laminated press-board. When I found this it looked like real wood, and IT IS. It is heavy, solid and gets the job done nicely. Plenty of space for the full 8 piece set including the extra serving utensils. I added some antique brass handles and a latch. I am very happy with it. Well worth the money.
