I ordered these to put on home trash & recycle bins so they are labeled nicely. Not exactly what I was thinking they would be like, but they are OK. They are 3.5" vinyl magnets. Included are 4 - 1.25" adhesive round dots so you can attach these magnets to non metal surfaces. However, they will not lay flush against your trash can. The magnet is about 1mm thick & the dots are about 2mm thick. All in all - about 3mm thick where the adhesive sits. I may find a way to put thin adhesive on the back.Likes:*Farmhouse/Rustic design*Removeable (if you use the magnet)Dislikes:*Magnetic - not many trash cans are metal, even at my workplace.*About 3mm thick if using adhesive dots.*The magnets will not lay flush with the trash can since the dots do not cover the entire back of magnet. They should have given a 3" adhesive dot (instead of little ones) or had it already on the back of the magnet for a peel & stick option.

We have two trash cans, one white and one gray, for trash and recycling, and no matter how many people are at our house, even our closest friends, they couldn’t remember which is which without opening them, so we spent all night having people ask us which are which. This was perfect for a silly problem - they match our cans, and they hold easily to the metal can. They also came with stickers if you don’t have a magnetic trash can, but I did not use them. They’re small enough that they aren’t garish but they are big enough to be easily seen from across the room. They are also cute and the font and layout are nice, and the print quality is good. Overall a cute little magnet set and solved our silly little problem, and now we can focus on hosting and not fielding questions about our cans.

We have a single divided trash and recycle unit, so over the holidays, we found out that if you don't use the can every day, it may be difficult to tell which side is which. These are great for helping solve that issue.Our can is stainless steel, so using them as magnets was good enough, but they do come with adhesive pads if you need them, too! They aren't overly embellished or gaudy, so they don't feel out of place in our somewhat boho/ modern decorating style.
